On March 18, 1904, Ukrainian poet, translator, and children's poet of the Executed Renaissance Marko Voronyi (pseudonym Antiochus) was born in Chernihiv. He is the author of the collections of poems for children "Builders", "Grasshoppers", "Rhino", "Pond", "Red Ties" (1930), and the collection of poems "Forward" (1932).
