The active members of the cadet-student parliament of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs together with the Department of Social and Humanitarian Work of KhNUIA held a patriotic and intellectual brain-ring "Let Ukraine bloom". The teams of the Faculties No. 2 and No. 3 met in an intellectual duel.
At the initiative of the cadets of the Faculty No. 1 of KhNUIA and the curator, associate professor of the Department of Administrative Law and Procedure Valentyna Yatsenko, a charity event was held to help animals that were evacuated from different cities of Ukraine where military operations are taking place. The shelter "House of Mercy Khotyn" is home to 257 dogs, including those from Kharkiv and Kherson regions.
The Department of Ukrainian Studies of the Faculty № 2 presented the library of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs with its new publication - "Workshop on Legal Documentation". The textbook is intended for classroom and independent work of higher education students of all specialties of full-time and part-time education.
At the weekend, the cadets of group 201 of the Faculty No. 1 together with the curator of the group, Associate Professor of the Department of Administrative Law and Procedure Valentyna Yatsenko visited the State Historical and Architectural Reserve "Khotyn Fortress". During the excursion, the cadets learned about the history of the fortification, its importance for the inhabitants of Khotyn at the time, and how the existence of the citadel affected the existence of various religions and governments.
Every year, on the occasion of the Great Kobzar's birthday, the NGO "Innovative Horizons of Ukraine" holds an All-Ukrainian essay contest for pupils and students "My Shevchenko", where each participant has the opportunity to present their own vision of the artist's figure and the relevance of his poetry in our time. According to the results of the competition, Valeriia Klynytska, a student of the Faculty № 6, took second place and received a second-degree diploma.
The management and students of Kremenchuk Flight College of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs held a patriotic event "Memory is imperishable, it is in the ages" to honor the memory of Oleh Hehechkori, who died in the Russian-Ukrainian war in Kyiv region.
The academic staff of the Department of Tactical and Special Physical Training of the Faculty No. 3 together with the specialists of the Center for Demining of Ukraine (CIA) conducted a binary lesson "Mine Safety" for applicants for the first "bachelor's" level of education of the faculties No. 2 and No. 3.
Vitalii Kavkalo, Head of the Human Rights Sector of Kamianets-Podilskyi Department of the National Police in Khmelnytskyi Oblast, and Oksana Melnychuk, Associate Professor of the Department of Social and Economic Disciplines of the Faculty № 2, conducted a binary class on "Deductive Inference as a Logical Basis for Qualifying a Crime and Other Legal Assessments" for cadets of the Faculty № 1.
The Ukrainian Kettlebell Lifting Championship among men and women, juniors and juniors and the Ukrainian Kettlebell Lifting Championship among students took place in Kyiv. According to the results of the competitions, the athletes of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs won prizes. In the Ukrainian Kettlebell Lifting Championship among men and women, juniors and seniors, Yaroslava Kremel, a 2nd year cadet of the Faculty No. 1, took first place in the 58 kg weight category.
Oleksandr Levashov, Associate Professor of the Department of Foreign Languages of the Faculty № 4, attended international online webinars for English language teachers. The event "From research to practice: using GenAI with Cambridge materials", hosted by speakers Evelina Galaczi and Raquel Ribeiro from Cambridge University Press and Assessment, addressed the issue of using artificial intelligence for effective foreign language learning.
