The Faculty № 2 of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs hosted checkers and table tennis tournaments among cadets of 1-3 years of study. The winners and prize-winners of the sports matches were awarded with diplomas and medals.
Maryna Chaban, a student of the Faculty № 6 of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs, won a silver medal in the Regional Rowing Cup among juniors held in Vinnytsia. According to the results of the competition, she took the second place at a distance XK-2, 500 meters.
The event was attended by Rector of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs, Police General of the third rank Valerii Sokurenko, Head of the Community Relations Office of the Preventive Activity Department of the National Police of Ukraine, Police Major Maya Breslavska, First Vice-Rector, Police Lieutenant Colonel Viktor Vasylenko, Vice-Rectors of the University, Police Colonels Serhii Bortnyk and Oleksandr Muzychuk, Director of the Institute of Postgraduate Education, Police Colonel Ihor Nazarenko, and employees of various structural units of the university.
The 1st year cadet of the Faculty № 4 of KhNUIA, police private Artem Oliinyk took part in the European Mixed Martial Arts Championships MMA, which took place from March 27 to April 01, 2024 in Belgrade (Serbia). According to the results of the competition, Artem took 1st place in the weight category up to 77.1 kg, defeating athletes from Ireland, Bulgaria, Ukraine, and Finland.
The cadets of the Faculty No. 3 of KhNUIA took part in the training "First Aid. Bleeding control". The event was held with the support of the Serhii Prytula Charitable Foundation "Civilian Preparedness Center".
For the purpose of national-patriotic and military-patriotic education of young people, Natalia Miloradova, Professor of the Department of Pedagogy and Psychology of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs, together with the curatorial group of the Faculty № 3, watched the documentary film "20 Days in Mariupol" by Mstyslav Chernov, which in March 2024 won the first Oscar for Ukraine in the category "Best Feature Documentary".
Olena Stativka, Head of the Department of Foreign Languages of the Faculty № 4 of KhNUIA, Associate Professors of the same department Oleksandr Levashov, Oleh Honcharuk, Valentyna Kochyna, Valentyna Pochuieva, Senior Lecturers Artem Bilousov and Larysa Sazanova took part in the 4-hour International Online Conference "Cambridge Day online conference for UKI, Eastern and Southern Europe, Middle East, Turkey & Africa Region" organized and conducted by Cambridge English Teaching.
Table tennis and chess competitions were held among the cadets of different courses and groups of the Faculty No. 3 of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs, during which young people demonstrated their skills and athletic abilities. After intense table tennis battles and intellectual chess matches, the winners were determined.
An online meeting of the scientific club dedicated to the preparation of the club members for participation in the scientific and practical conference of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs "Personality, Society, War" was held under the guidance of Olena Shakhova, Associate Professor of the Department. The event was attended by students, master's students and teachers of the Department of Sociology and Psychology of the Faculty No. 6.
During the formation of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs, the cadets who took part in the kettlebell lifting (snatch) championship of Vinnytsia Territorial Organization of the VFST Kolos, the All-Ukrainian Sumo Tournament "Lubart Cup" and the Ukrainian Sumo Championship among adults were awarded.
