Fourth-year cadets of the Faculties №№ 1, 2, 4 of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs, who receive higher education under the educational and professional program "Law" (police) of the first (bachelor's) level of higher education, defended their internship materials. The defense was held with the use of elements of the police quest, as a result of which higher education students were able to demonstrate the skills developed during the internship.
At all locations of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs, representatives of the Swiss Foundation for Mine Action FSD (Fondation suisse de deminage) in Ukraine held an information event on "Risks associated with explosive objects" for cadets of the 1st-4th years of the Faculties №№ 1-4.
The cadets of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs took part in the kettlebell lifting (snatch) championship of Vinnytsia Territorial Organization of the VFST "Kolos", which was held in Vinnytsia. The university cadets won prizes in the individual competition.
Leading researcher of the Research Laboratory on the Issues of Psychological Support of Law Enforcement Activities of KhNUIA, police captain Yevheniia Hladkova together with the team of the Palms of Peace charity foundation handed over humanitarian aid for mothers with babies - baby products.
During the morning line-up of KhNUIA personnel, the Dean of the Faculty No. 1 Vitalii Romaniuk and the Dean of the Faculty No. 4 Mykola Marchuk congratulated and presented the cadets with awards for their achievements in sports and during their internships.
Sofiia Koval, a 1st year cadet of the Faculty № 3 of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs, won gold and bronze medals in sumo competitions held from March 27 to 31 in Lutsk. Sofiia took third place in the Ukrainian adult sumo championship in the 55 kg weight category. The girl won the All-Ukrainian sumo tournament "Lubart Cup".
Members of the scientific circle of the Department of Criminal Law and Criminology, 2nd and 3rd year cadets of the Faculty No. 1 Anastasia Petrovych, Yulia Titarenko, Veronika Kolomiiets, Dasha Horpynenko, together with Associate Professor of the Department Tetiana Shevchuk, attended a training course on "How to counteract war-related sexual violence and professionally assist victims: a guide for professionals".
Dmytro Slynko, Professor of the Department of Theory and History of State and Law of the Faculty of Law No. 1, took part in the VI International Scientific and Practical Conference "Actual Issues of Private and Public Law", which was dedicated to the 95th anniversary of the birth of the corresponding member of the National Academy of Pedagogical Sciences of Ukraine, Academician of the International Personnel Academy, Honored Scientist of Ukraine, Doctor of Law, Professor Oleksandr Protsevskyi.
Vasyl Korniienko, Head of the Department of Criminalistics, Forensic Science and Pre-medical Training of the Faculty No. 1, conducted a binary lesson on the course of forensic science for the 3rd year cadets of the Faculty No. 1 on the topic "Features of the examination at the scene" with the participation of Serhii Strilets, Senior Forensic Expert of the Forensic Science Department.
A regular meeting of the scientific club was devoted to the activities of executive authorities under martial law. The event was attended by the Head of the Department of Law Enforcement and Policeistics Iryna Panova, the Head of the Scientific Club Victoria Melnyk, lecturers of the department and students.
