On the occasion of the Day of Unity of Ukraine, which is celebrated on February 16, all locations of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs held a track and field race "United and Strong". Vice-rectors, deans of faculties, heads of structural subdivisions, cadets, students, and master's students ran the 3000-meter course.
Employees of the Department of Recruitment and Organization of Career Guidance of KhNUIA together with representatives of Korosten District Police Department of the Main Department of the National Police in Zhytomyr region held career guidance meetings with graduates of eight general secondary education institutions in the city of Korosten, Zhytomyr region.
Every year, Ukrainian institutions actively participate in the EU's Horizon program, which promotes Ukraine's integration into the European Research Area. In 2023, 29 higher education institutions participated in EU Horizon projects, including: Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs is the only institution among the higher education institutions in the security and defense sector.

Lecturers of the Department of Humanities of Sumy Branch of KhNUIA Yulia Samoilova, Hanna Dovhopolova and Hanna Reshytko took part in the webinar "How can teachers enhance learning and teaching in English-medium education?", the main focus of which was the need for close cooperation between language specialists and academic subject specialists.

The event was held by the NGO "Center for Euroinitiatives" in the youth center "Romance" together with the "Active Community" from the all-Ukrainian NGO "Institute "Republic".
He visited the Main Police Department in Zhytomyr region, where graduates of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs are serving. According to the regional police chief, police colonel Oleh Trachuk, the young officers are well trained, have extensive knowledge, are responsible and disciplined. They conscientiously protect the rights and freedoms of citizens and the territorial integrity of our country.
The next optional lesson of the School of Scientific Leadership of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs on the topic "Prevention of negative psycho-emotional states under martial law. First Psychological Aid" was conducted by Natalia Novikova, Head of the Psychological Support Department of the Human Resources Department of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs.
The Faculty № 2 hosted a poetry evening "Muses are not silent" dedicated to the second anniversary of the beginning of the full-scale invasion of Ukraine by Russian troops. The Dean of the Faculty, Police Colonel Ihor Nazarenko, addressed the cadets and noted that despite the war, the cadets successfully master the police profession, participate in sports competitions, engage in scientific research, and join cultural events.
