Senior investigator in especially important cases - criminalist of the investigative department of the MDNP in Vinnytsia region Inna KAHLIAK, together with Associate Professor of the Department of Criminal Procedure and Organization of Pre-Trial Investigation of the ERI No. 1 Valeria HNATENKO, conducted a lesson for higher education students of the ERI No. 2.

Deputy Director for Educational and Scientific Research of the Educational and Research Institute No. 2, Associate Professor Serhii HIRENKO, Head of the Department of Social and Economic Disciplines, Professor Iryna SIEVIDOVA, and Associate Professors of the same department Natalia PAVLENKO and Viktoria VELIIEVA held a career guidance meeting.

The Scientific Center for Building Integrity and Preventing Corruption in the Security and Defense Sector of the National University of Ukraine hosted a presentation of the manual “Solving Dilemmas in the Public Sector Workplace”. The event brought together international experts, academics and representatives of government agencies.

Oleksandr SHEPELEV, a lecturer of the Department of Special Physical Training of the ERI No. 2, and Dmytro MINKO, a senior district officer of the 4th Police Department of Ternopil Regional Police Department in Ternopil region, together with the cadets of the ERI No. 4, analyzed in detail the methods of detaining an offender during the front approach with the arm bent behind the back (“jerk”, “lock”, “kidney”).

Anna SUSHKOVA, Senior Lecturer at the Department of Legal Support of Entrepreneurial Activity and Financial Security of the ERI №5, took part in the online All-Ukrainian Scientific and Pedagogical Advanced Training on the topic “STEM and STEAM - Educational Trends in the Development of Digitalization in the Context of European Integration”, which was held by the National Center “Small Academy of Sciences of Ukraine”.

This was the topic of a binary lesson for students of the ERI №1 conducted by Professor of the Department of Constitutional and International Law and Human Rights Yevhenia LOHVYNENKO and investigator of the Investigation Department of the Police Department №1 (Borshchiv) of Chortkiv Regional Department of the National Police in Ternopil region Vasyl PANASIUK in the discipline “Constitutional Law”.

Olena SOLOVIOVA, Associate Professor of the Department of Criminal Procedure, Criminalistics and Forensics of the ERI №5, Candidate of Law, Associate Professor, took part online in the V International Scientific and Theoretical Conference “Modern vision of implementing innovations in scientific studies”, which took place in Marseille (France).

The Head of the temporary detention center No. 4 Volodymyr SOKOLAN and his deputy Yaroslav BONDARCHUK informed the students of the ERI No. 5 about the peculiarities of the isolation center, the grounds for admission to the temporary detention center of persons detained on suspicion of committing a crime, the procedural terms of their stay, the conditions of detention and the rights of detainees.

Vitalii ROMANIUK, Director of the ERI №1, and the academic staff of the Department of Criminal Law and Criminology of the ERI №1 handed over to the library printed copies of the textbook “Investigation of Collaboration Activities: Criminal Law, Criminal Procedural and Forensic Aspects”, which was published to mark the 30th anniversary of KhNUIA as a university.

For the students of the ERI No. 5, a lesson on “Official offenses that have elements related to the offense under Art. 368 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (acceptance of an offer, promise or receipt of an unlawful benefit by an official)” was held by a representative of VILEON Law Firm Tetiana VYSHNEVETSKA.
