Within the framework of the joint project of the OSCE Support Program for Ukraine, the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the National Police of Ukraine, 3rd year cadets Dasha Horpynenko, Serhii Melkumov (Faculty 1), Vladyslav Kostromskyi (Faculty 2) and Olena Tsipkailo (Faculty 4) took part in the Winter School on Investigating of Crimes Related to Human Trafficking for three days.
Under the guidance of the Head of the Department of Social and Economic Disciplines of the Faculty № 2, Doctor of Economics Iryna Sievidova, third-year cadet Oksana Sobko, who is studying in the specialty 071 "Accounting and Taxation", took part in the II Scientific and Practical Conference "Actual Issues of Regional Financial Processes under Martial Law", which was organized by the Young Scientist Publishing House.
The Dean of the Faculty № 6 Oksana Brusakova and the Deputy Dean Kostiantyn Sverdlin held an online career guidance meeting with Kharkiv schoolchildren. The event was also attended by the academic staff of the Department of Cybersecurity and DATA Technologies - Head of the Department Yurii Hnusov, Associate Professor Inna Khavina, Senior Lecturer Mykhailo Tsuranov, and employees of the Department of Social Sciences and Humanities - Head of the Department Volodymyr Hrechenko, Senior Lecturer Mykhailo Ovchynnykov.
The Department of Criminal Procedure and Organization of Pre-trial Investigation of theFaculty No. 1 held a regular meeting of the scientific club on the topic "Application of the European Court of Human Rights Case Law in Criminal Proceedings". The event was attended by cadets of Faculties No. 1, 4 and academic staff. Students of the Faculty No. 2 joined the meeting online.
The Dean of the Faculty No. 6, Doctor of Law, Associate Professor Oksana Brusakova and the Head of the Department of Social Sciences and Humanities of the same faculty, Doctor of History, Professor, Honored Worker of Education of Ukraine Volodymyr Hrechenko took part online in the VI International Scientific and Theoretical Conference "Formation of innovative potential of world science", which took place in Tel Aviv (Israel).
The academic staff, master's students and first-year bachelor's degree students of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs participated in a training on war crimes investigation. The training was conducted by Mark Roorda, Senior Adviser on International Crimes Investigation at the European Union Advisory Mission Ukraine, and Michal Vyvoda, Senior OSINT Adviser at the European Union Advisory Mission Ukraine.
With the assistance of the Department of International Cooperation of KhNUIA, members of the language training project "A way to Europe" under the guidance of Associate Professor of the Department of Foreign Languages of the Faculty № 4 Valentyna Kochina took part in an event organized by the Ukrainian Bar Association on the topic "Two years of Russia's full-scale invasion of Ukraine: The Future of Russia's Frozen Assets".
The Departments of Civil Law Disciplines of the Faculty № 4 and Civil Law and Procedure of the Faculty № 6 of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs held a roundtable meeting with the participation of cadets and third-year students. The topic of the roundtable was topical issues of application of civil law on trust property.
A meeting of the scientific circle of the Department of Foreign Languages of the Faculty № 4 of KhNUIA was held under the guidance of the senior lecturer of the department Tetiana Kalchenko and the lecturer of the same department Nataliia Olendra. Tetiana Kalchenko discussed with the cadets the topic "British English vs American English" ("The difference between American and British English") and told about the time when there was only one version of English.
Representatives of the Department for Combating Drug Crimes of the National Police of Ukraine met with cadets of the Faculty № 4 of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs, who are studying in the specialty 125 "Cybersecurity and Information Protection".
