
The Department of Civil, Labor and Economic Law of the Educational and Research Institute No. 1 organized a career guidance event for graduates of Kharkiv lyceums. Nataliia Horbach, Senior Lecturer of the Department of Language Training of KhNUIA, took part in the international online webinar ‘Academic English has a past and a present - but what is its future?’, where the participants discussed the most relevant trend in teaching English - English for Academic Purposes (EAP).

As part of the non-formal and informal education programme, students of the ERI No. 4 completed training aimed at raising awareness of the risks of human trafficking, methods of manipulation by perpetrators and ways to avoid danger. This course is an important tool in raising awareness of modern forms of exploitation and ways to protect against human trafficking in society.

The scientific and pedagogical staff of the Department of Tactical and Special Training and the Department of Firearms Training of the ERI №2 together with the personnel of the scientific and practical club of the tactical and special unit ‘SHIELD’ conducted a practical training at the shooting range.

The inspector of the public relations sector of the patrol police department in Sumy region, Maryna Horkovska, together with the associate professor of the department of humanities, Hanna Dovhopolova, conducted a lesson on the topic "Culture of professional speech of a police officer."

The round table was held within the framework of the Declaration on Cooperation between Higher Education Institutions, which is part of the events marking the 30th anniversary of KhNUIA as a university. The participants were addressed by the Director of the ERI No. 5 Oksana Brusakova and the Dean of the Adam Mickiewicz Faculty of History in Poznań Przemysław Matuszyk.

Senior lecturer of the Department of Criminal Process and Organization of Pre-Trial Investigation of the ERI No. 1 Kateryna Horbunova, together with the deputy head of the ITT No. 4 of the MDNP in Khmelnytskyi region Yaroslav Bondarchuk, conducted classes for cadets on the territory of the temporary detention center.

Head of the Department of Postgraduate (Adjunct) and Doctoral Studies, Professor of the Department of Administrative Activities, Candidate of Law, Associate Professor Volodymyr Ivantsov completed the Council of Europe HELP Programme course on the topic "The Right to Liberty and Personal Integrity."

On the initiative of the International Cooperation Department, English speaking clubs are being held for the sixth week in a row. Meetings are held online in two groups for participants of the initial and intermediate levels (A2 - B1), as well as for a more advanced level (B2).

Associate Professor of the Department of Humanities and Ukrainian Studies, Candidate of Philological Sciences Natalia Kobylko took part in the V All-Ukrainian Scientific Conference dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the birth of Pavlo Zagrebelny, which took place at Oles Honchar Dnipro National University.
