Classes at the Summer Leadership School of Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznan (Republic of Poland) have begun for representatives of the cadet and student self-government of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs, who are part of the delegation to Poznan (Republic of Poland). The Summer School of Leadership was opened by Andrzej Stelmach, Dean of the Faculty of Political Science and Journalism of Adam Mickiewicz University.
Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs was represented by the First Vice-Rector Oleksandr Morhunov. He conveyed greetings from the rector of the university, Police General of the third rank Valerii Sokurenko, noting that the agreement will create a solid foundation for the development of new contacts and further fruitful cooperation between higher education institutions of Ukraine and Poland.
Senior Lecturer of the Department of Firearms Training Fedir Zurov conducted an optional lesson with the 1st year cadets of the Faculty No. 3 as part of the implementation of the concept of national-patriotic education. The students improved their pistol shooting skills while performing shooting exercises in a multimedia shooting range. They practiced quick aiming and dexterity of movements during shooting.
The morning line-up of the personnel of the Faculty No. 4 of KhNUIA began with a minute of silence for those who died as a result of the armed aggression of the Russian Federation against Ukraine. The Dean of the Faculty No. 4 Mykola Marchuk gave instructions to the shift personnel in connection with the beginning of the examination session in the first year, and also presented the cadets with certificates for participation in the All-Ukrainian Scientific and Practical Conference "Actual Problems of Modern Science in the Research of Young Scientists, Cadets and Students".
Yana Mazur, the University's Anti-Corruption Officer, took part in a three-day training in the ToT (training of trainers) format on anti-corruption for higher education, which was held within the framework of the project "European Union Support to Displaced Higher Education Institutions in Eastern Ukraine", implemented by UNDP under the UN Recovery and Peacebuilding Programme with the financial support of the European Union.
Vitalii Nosov, Professor of the Department of Cybercrime Counteraction of the Faculty № 4 of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs, received a university license to access the Crystal Expert blockchain analytical platform to support research and training of higher education students in the discipline "Investigation of Cyber Incidents Related to Virtual Assets".
During the morning formation of the personnel of the Faculty No. 1 of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs, the Dean of the Faculty Vitalii Romaniuk presented cadets and teachers with diplomas, certificates and letters of appreciation for their active participation in the university's research activities.
At the invitation of the University of Leicester (Leicester, UK) and the Center for European Law and Internationalization (CELI), Professor Svitlana Popova, Professor of the Department of Law Enforcement and Police Science, Faculty № 6, took part in the international conference "International Cooperation in Space Activity" with a report "The Ukrainian-British Academic Partnership: cooperation in the war conditions".
Larysa Sazanova, Senior Lecturer at the Department of Foreign Languages of the Faculty № 4, took part in the international three-day conference "Linguist United Conference Ukraine 2023", organized and held online by Linguist Publishing House, Cambridge, MM Publications and National Geographic Learning.
Yuliia Bezusa, Associate Professor of the Department of Theory and History of State and Law of the Faculty No. 1, Oleksandr Muliar, Senior Inspector of the SRPP of Kamianets-Podilskyi District Department of the Main National Police in Khmelnytskyi Region, and Ruslan Redzhepov, Investigator of Kamianets-Podilskyi District Department of the Main National Police in Khmelnytskyi Region, conducted binary classes for 1st year cadets of Faculty No. 2 on the topic "State Building and Development of Ukrainian Law in the Years of Independence".
