"We are not celebrating today. It is not the time for a ceremonial uniform. Today, you are wearing the same thing you wear every day to work, the same thing people see you in. The uniform that inspires confidence and support. You are fighting fiercely to defend the country. And after the Victory, you will have a lot of work ahead of you - together we will build Ukraine's global security system," Ihor Klymenko emphasized.

During the full-scale war, our functions have expanded, and we have gained new experience that changes us. Experience that would be better not to have, but it is necessary for every war criminal to be held accountable for their actions.
I thank all police officers who remain faithful to the words of the Oath given to the Ukrainian people. Who share the values of service and protection. Who are a reliable support for law and order in the country.

Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs hosted celebrations on the occasion of the Day of the National Police of Ukraine with the participation of the university's management, staff and cadets. Rector Valerii Sokurenko congratulated the personnel.

A solemn event on the occasion of the Day of the National Police of Ukraine was held in the Heroes of Euromaidan Park in Kamianets-Podilskyi, attended by representatives of local self-government and local authorities of Kamianets-Podilskyi, management, staff and cadets of faculties No. 1 and No. 4.

The National Police of Ukraine Day is celebrated annually on July 4, according to the Decree of the President of Ukraine No. 97 dated April 4, 2018, in honor of the event of 2015, when the first patrol police officers took the oath of office on St. Sophia Square in Kyiv.

The first-year cadets of the faculties №№ 1-4 of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs were briefed on the procedure for completing an introductory practice in the territorial units of the National Police of Ukraine.

Vasyl Korniienko, Head of the Department of Criminalistics, Forensic Science and Pre-Medical Training of the Faculty No. 1, PhD in Law, Associate Professor, Police Lieutenant Colonel, together with Serhii Strilets, Senior Forensic Expert of the Criminalistics Department of Kharkiv Scientific Research Center of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, conducted a binary online practical lesson in the discipline "Criminalistics"

On July 6, 2023, at 15.00, an online meeting of future applicants with representatives of the Faculty No. 6 of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs will be held. Participants of the event will learn about the conditions of admission for different categories of applicants for obtaining bachelor's and master's degrees

Oleksandr Mozhaiev, Professor of the Department of Cybersecurity and DATA Technologies of the Faculty No. 6, and Mykhailo Tsuranov, Senior Lecturer of the Department, received certificates of the Wildau-Kharkiv-IT-Bridge (WKITB), which is part of the DAAD program "Ukraine digital: Ensuring academic success in times of crisis (2023)" 

Ivan Kotliarov, a 3rd year cadet of th Faculty No. 1 of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs, who is a member of the University's School of Scientific Leadership, took part in the International Organization for Migration's Together for Success summer school for young people.
