The Head of the Cycle Commission Tetiana Kozlovska held an optional lesson for the participants of the University's School of Scientific Leadership. She drew the attention of the students to the problem of environmental terrorism, the impact of rocket and artillery shelling on the environment caused by the full-scale invasion of the Russian Federation in Ukraine.

On October 21, 2024, at 14:00, the course Jean Monnet Module “Digital Transformation of Rights: EU Experience” (DiTraRi_EU 101127785), implemented by the Department of Civil, Labor and Commercial Law of the ERI №1, will begin teaching.

The event, dedicated to the methods and ways of providing free legal aid, was held by the curator of the department, Associate Professor of the Department of Civil Law and Procedure Tetiana Kyrychenko. The seminar was attended by Ella Tverdokhlib, Deputy Director of the ERI #5.

Valentyna Korzh, Professor of the Department of Criminal Procedure, Criminalistics and Forensics of the Educational and Research Institute #5, took the course “Women, Peace, Security” as part of the project “Building a Democratic, Peaceful and Gender-Equal Society in Ukraine - Phase II”.

The class was conducted by Olena Polehenka, Prosecutor of the Department for Organization of Procedural Management of Pre-trial Investigation and Support of Public Prosecution in Criminal Proceedings Related to Domestic Violence of the Department for Protection of Children's Interests and Combating Domestic Violence of the Prosecutor General's Office.

The class was conducted by Vitalii Kavkalo, Head of the Human Rights Sector of Kamianets-Podilskyi District Police Department of Khmelnytskyi Oblast National Police, and Senior Inspector Albina Melnyk. The students of the Institute №5 learned about the algorithm of law enforcement actions in documenting and recording all actions regarding detainees.

A curatorial hour on the topic “Prevention of juvenile delinquency as one of the main areas in the fight against juvenile delinquency” was held for higher education students of Sumy branch of KhNUIA by Serhii Ivashyna, senior lecturer of the Department of Special Police Disciplines and Basic Combat Training.

For the second-year students of Sumy branch of KhNUIA, who are studying in the specialty “Law”, an online class on “Institutional factors of national economy development. Public Welfare and Social and Market Economy” was conducted by Associate Professor of the Department of Socio-Economic Disciplines Volodymyr Dementov.

Associate Professor of the Department of Criminal Law and Criminology of the ERI No. 1, Candidate of Law, Associate Professor Ksenia Yurtaieva together with Judge of Nemyriv District Court of Vinnytsia Region Tetiana Voinytska conducted a binary class in the discipline “Criminal Law” on the topic “Crimes against the foundations of national security of Ukraine”.
