For the cadets of Sumy branch of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs, a thematic hour of remembrance "Heavenly Hundred - the first heroes of the Russian-Ukrainian war" was organized and held at Sumy Regional Museum of Local History on the occasion of the Day of Honoring the Heroes of the Heavenly Hundred.

Cadets of Sumy branch of KhNUIA took part in the city requiem dedicated to honoring the memory of the Heroes of the Heavenly Hundred. Representatives of the regional leadership, the city, the military, law enforcement officers, and the public took part in the event.

Students of the Faculty No. 6 of KhNUIA, who are currently studying remotely and are located in different parts of Ukraine, joined the Day of Honoring the Heroes of the Heavenly Hundred online. Curators of educational groups held a series of meetings in which they discussed the events of 2014 and their significance in the history of Ukraine.

Pictures and letters of wishes from schoolchildren of Vinnytsia, Khmelnytskyi and Poltashchyna, which they prepared for the patriotic campaign "Thank you...!" and children's drawing competition "Under a peaceful sky", were handed over to soldiers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Along with patriotic messages, the servicemen received camouflage nets made by university cadets.

Associate Professor of the Department of Social and Economic Disciplines Oksana Melnychuk and President of the NGO "Human Rights Association of Ukrainians in Ukraine" Roman Truskavetskyi held binary classes on the topic "The logic of jurisprudence in the regulation of social relations in Ukraine" for 1st year cadets of the Faculty No. 1 of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs.

On the anniversary of the aggression of the Russian Federation against Ukraine, the first results of the "Security and Trust" study, conducted last year in Kharkiv, Vinnytsia and Khmelnytskyi regions, were presented on Khmelnytskyi TV 7+ channel.

Conducting scientific research by young scientists is one of the priority areas of activity of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs. The level of development of science is a determining factor in the intellectual growth of young people.

Dear people! Defending Ukraine today, we remember that our strength and fortitude are based on the strength and fortitude of many Ukrainians who did not give up, who dreamed and acted to make Ukraine live. Nine years after the Revolution of Dignity, the battle for our independence continues.

Events were held at all locations of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs to commemorate the Day of Remembrance of the Heavenly Hundred Heroes. On behalf of the Rector of the University, Police General of the third rank, the First Vice-Rector, Police Colonel, Oleksandr Morhunov, addressed the audience.

We have been fighting for our freedom and independence for a thousand years. In this struggle, we suffered irreparable casualties, the best sons and daughters of our native Ukraine died and are dying. We do not forget and remember them - the Heroes of Krut, whose Memorial Day we celebrated recently in January, and today, February 20, is the Day of Heroes of the Heavenly Hundred, when we honor the feat of the participants of the Revolution of Dignity.
