
Traditionally, on the eve of the Easter holidays, representatives of the university management congratulate cadets and students who are orphans, deprived of parental care and those who lost their relatives in this cruel war at all locations of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs.

Curators of the faculties of educational work of the Department of Social and Humanitarian Work held conversations with cadets on the topic "Modern ways of establishing Ukraine as a nation state". During the meetings, they analysed the features of a modern state and its development, the importance of national and civic identity, etc.

The annual ranking of Ukrainian higher education institutions according to the Scopus* scientometric database is published on the Osvita.ua website. This year, the ranking includes 214 higher education institutions of Ukraine (10 more than in 2023). In the ranking table, they are ranked according to the Hirsch index, a quantitative indicator based on the number of scientific publications and their citations.

Senior Lecturer of the Department of Foreign Languages of the Faculty No. 4 of KhNUIA Viktoriia Fylypska took part in international online trainings from Dinternal Education LLC. At the training "Benefits of using Pearson digital platforms for students to achieve the best results in learning English", the teacher got acquainted with the peculiarities of conducting online classes, with the advantages of completing tasks in the electronic workbook MyEnglishLab.

On the eve of the Easter holidays, family warmth is traditionally given to children who need it most. The cadet council of the Faculty No. 3 together with the specialist of the Department of Social and Humanitarian Work Mariia Artiukhova organised holidays for the children of the sponsored educational and rehabilitation centre "Hnizdechko" of Vinnytsia Regional Council.

Emma Bahlai, Head of the Student Council of the Faculty No. 3 of KhNUIA, together with 2nd year cadets and Diana Shtyfurko, a delegate of the Student Council of Vinnytsia Region, attended the educational event "The Truth about Easter", organised by the Cultural and Mass Committee of the Student Council of Vinnytsia Region.

Serhii Shatrava, Head of the Research on the Issues of Pre-trial Investigation of KhNUIA, Olena Dzhafarova, Head of the Department of Police and Public Administration of the Faculty No. 3, and Valerii Matus, Lecturer at the Department of Legal Disciplines of Sumy Branch of KhNUIA, have successfully completed the online module of the joint project of the European Union Agency for Law Enforcement Training (CEPOL) and the TOPCOP project.

"We help those who protect us!" - this is the motto of the first-year students of the Faculty No. 6 of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs, who, in their free time, join the weaving of camouflage nets and protective suits at the Women's Hundred headquarters during the academic year. The camouflage gear allows them to be invisible and saves the lives of the military. We continue to work, help and volunteer.

With the support of Oksana Brusakova, Dean of the Faculty No. 6, the academic staff of the faculty's departments raised funds and purchased EcoFlow charging stations for the assault brigade soldiers holding the defence in Kharkiv area.

At the beginning of the event, the Rector, Chairman of the Academic Council Valerii Sokurenko congratulated and presented a certificate of awarding the academic title of associate professor to Vita Filipska, senior lecturer at the Department of Foreign Languages of the Faculty No. 4. Yulia Bershadska received a Doctor of Philosophy degree in the field of knowledge 08 "Law", and Inna Larionova and Andrii Pashchenko received Doctor of Philosophy degrees in the field of knowledge 05 "Social and Behavioural Sciences".
