On the occasion of the Day of the Ukrainian Central Rada, the Department of Social and Humanitarian Work of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs organized an event for students of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs with the participation of Oleksii Derkach, a researcher of the history of Vinnytsia region.
Olena Fedorenko, Head of the Department of Pedagogy and Psychology of the Faculty No. 3, held a career guidance meeting with graduates of Khmelnytskyi Gymnasium No. 1. The event was attended by more than 50 high school boys and girls. During the meeting, Olena Fedorenko spoke about the faculties and specialties for which the cadets - future police officers - and students are studying.
According to the analysis of data on domestic violence since the beginning of the full-scale war in Ukraine, there have been fewer recorded cases of domestic violence compared to previous years.
Alina Kotelevets, a 4th year cadet of the Faculty No. 4, together with her family, is actively engaged in volunteer activities during the vacation. In the city library of Okhtyrka, Sumy region, Alina, together with concerned citizens, makes camouflage nets and trench candles that are sent to the military.
Cadets of 1-3 courses of Faculties No. 1 and No. 4 took part in an event during which they were introduced to the goals and objectives of the Offensive Guard of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine and one of its assault units, "Liut". Mykola Marchuk, Dean of Faculty No. 4, Vitalii Romaniuk, Acting Dean of Faculty No. 1, a representative of the National Police assault brigade "Liut" and Vadym Struzhevskyi, Head of the Human Resources Department of Khmelnytskyi Oblast Police, spoke to the cadets.
Representatives of the Faculties No. 1, 2, 4 of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs - Head of the Department of Investigative Activities and Crime Solution Vladyslav Shendryk, Professor of the Department of Criminal Procedure and Organization of Pre-trial Investigation Hennadii Hlobenko, Professor of the Department of Criminalistics, Forensic Science and Pre-medical Training Vlada Husieva, Associate Professor of the Department of Constitutional and International Law Larysa Varunts - attended a training organized by the European Union Advisory Mission.
On the occasion of the Day of Establishment of the Ukrainian Central Rada, the Department of Social and Humanitarian Work organized and conducted a thematic video lecture "Establishment of the Ukrainian Central Rada" for cadets of the Faculties No. 1 and No. 4 of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs with the participation of Valerii Nesterenko, Candidate of Historical Sciences, leading researcher at Kamianets-Podilskyi State Historical Museum-Reserve.
Kharkiv Press Club hosted a presentation of the results of the next wave of the Youth and Drugs study and the Ukrainian Longitudinal Study conducted during the war. Experts commented on the results of the research, told how the war affects the mental health of children and youth, what threats exist, whether the level of alcohol and drug use has changed during the war, and how the situation with the mental health of Ukrainians will develop in the future.
Associate Professor of the Department of Criminal Procedure and Organization of Pre-trial Investigation, Candidate of Law, Associate Professor Oleksii Salmanov remotely participated in the international conference "The 10th International scientific and practical conference "Modern methods of applying scientific theories", held by the European organization of scientists "International Science Group".
Alina Piddubna, Associate Professor of the Department of Criminal Procedure and Organization of Pre-trial Investigation of the Faculty No. 1, together with Bohdan Tsiopa, an investigator of the General Crimes Investigation Department of Kamianets-Podilskyi District Police Department of the MDNP Khmelnytskyi Region, conducted a binary lesson on the discipline "Criminal Procedure" for the study group 205 of the Faculty No. 1 on the topic "Subjects of Criminal Proceedings".
