Associate Professor of the Department of Social and Economic Disciplines of Sumy Branch of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs Liudmyla Parfentii met with 11th grade students of Sumy Secondary School No. 4 named after Hero of Ukraine Oleksandr Anishchenko and held a career guidance conversation about the prospects for legal education in Ukraine.

On the eve of the New Year and Christmas holidays, the Department of Social and Humanitarian Work organized a visit to the comedy performance "Chasing Two Hares" by Mykhailo Starytskyi for the permanent and variable staff of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs.

As part of the Psychological Practices Unit project, which aims to introduce high-quality and effective mental health support tools in the Ministry of Internal Affairs system, Svitlana Kharchenko, a professor at the Department of Psychology and Pedagogy, Faculty № 3 of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs, met with Anastasia Mertsalova and Alina Zhuk, psychologists at Kharkiv District Police Department № 1 of the MDNP of Kharkiv Region.

Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs hosted a conference of the staff of the Faculty No. 3, which was held by the Dean of the Faculty, Police Major Hennadii Zvirianskyi. The participants of the conference approved the annual report of the Dean, which analyzed the results of the main activities of the Faculty

According to the Decree of the President of Ukraine of December 22, 2023, No. 837/2023, Vitalii Naida, a researcher at the Research Laboratory on the Issues of Psychological Support of Law Enforcement Activity of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs, was awarded a scholarship of the President of Ukraine for young writers and artists in the field of music, theater, fine arts, choreography, and circus arts.

An educational and methodological seminar on "How to recognize fakes (culture of behavior in the information space during the war)" was held for higher education students and the academic staff of Sumy branch of KhNUIA. During the seminar, the issues of information hygiene during the war were discussed.

Anna Naumova, Associate Professor of the Department of Criminal Law and Criminology of the Faculty № 6, and Yevhen Rudniev, Methodologist of the General Methodology Department of the Faculty № 6, held a meeting with students of several groups on the subject of internships.

Olha Hetmanets, Head of the Department of Legal Support of Entrepreneurial Activity and Financial Security of the Faculty No. 6, and associate professors of the same department Victoria Fursa and Daria Korobtsova met with 2nd year students who are getting higher education under the second (master's) level educational and professional program in the specialty "Finance, Banking and Insurance (Financial Security and Financial Investigations)".

Psychological support for employees and personnel of the Ministry of Internal Affairs is being significantly strengthened, including through the implementation of the Mental Tutor project. This was discussed at a meeting on the current areas of psychological support in the Ministry of Internal Affairs for 2024.

Maryna Vasylenko, Head of the Legal Clinic "Pravova Dopomoha" of Sumy Branch of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs, took part in the Winter Forum of Legal Clinics. The event brought together more than 50 clinicians who joined the conversation about the development of the legal clinical movement and the role of the Association of Legal Clinics of Ukraine in it.
