With the beginning of the invasion of the Russian aggressor on the territory of Ukraine, many men and women went to the front as volunteers to defend their native land. From the first days of the war, as part of the Territorial Defense Forces, Danylo has been fighting for the right of Ukraine to be a free and independent state, and Danylo is a student of the Faculty No. 6 of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs.
The workshop, organized by the Swedish Institute Academy for Young Professionals (SAYP) and the NGO "La Strada-Ukraine", brought together experts and representatives of civil society from Ukraine and Georgia to share experiences on countering gender-based violence during an armed conflict, in particular in the aspect of implementing the provisions of the Istanbul Convention in conditions of war and occupation.
Sumy branch of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs hosted an online talent competition "Meet us, we are the freshmen!", which has already become traditional. The jury of the competition, which included representatives of the management team, student-cadet self-government and creative personalities of the higher education institution, determined the winners among the youth.
Olena Fedosova, Deputy Head of the Scientific Research Laboratory on the Problems of Scientific Support of Law Enforcement Activity and the Quality of Personnel Training, completed the international internship "Scientific Perspectives and Innovations in Educations: Experience of the Czech Republic" ("Scientific perspectives and innovations in education: the experience of the Czech Republic") for pedagogical and scientific and pedagogical workers, organized by the International Economic Institute (Esenice, Czech Republic).
The vice-rector of the Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs, doctor of legal sciences, professor Mykhailo Burdin and assistant to the rector for gender issues, associate professor, candidate of legal sciences, associate professor Oksana Tsukan took part in the meeting of the General Assembly of the Horizon 2020 program project "European Regional Partnership for Gender Equality in the Digital Age" (EQUALS-EU), Valencia (Kingdom of Spain).
Since the first days of the war, the students of Sumy branch of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs have been actively helping defenders defending Ukraine from the Russian aggressor.

Factors of a policeman's labor activity" from the discipline "Personal safety of a policeman" with the first-year cadets on the prevention and fight against AIDS, the deputy medical director of the Communal Non-Commercial Enterprise of Sumy Regional Council "Regional Clinical Center of Socially Dangerous Diseases", infectious disease doctor Larysa Panasenko, held a conversation.
