Another online meeting of the scientific circle of the Department of Cyber Security and DATA-technologies of the Faculty No. 6, dedicated to the issues of scientific research work of students, took place. The Head of the circle, Associate Professor of the Department of Cyber Security and DATA-technologies Volodymyr Tulupov, together with the group members, reviewed directions for scientific research and materials for reports to the round table "Application of information technologies in law enforcement activities", which will be held online on December 14, 2022, at Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs.
Russia's war against our country made it necessary to review the existing approaches to training police officers in higher education institutions with specific learning conditions. In order to implement measures to prevent and counter corruption, control over their implementation in accordance with the instruction of KhNUIA dated 07.11.2022 No. 46 "On assessment of corruption risks and preparation of the anti-corruption program of KhNUIA for 2023-2025", guided by Article 19 of the Law of Ukraine "On Prevention of Corruption" » the evaluation of corruption risks in the activity of KhNUIA in the format of a self-assessment has been started.

Second-year students of Sumy branch of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs Dmytro Kotov (specialty "Law enforcement") and Kiril Krupskyi (specialty "Law") as part of the Ukrainian national team at the European Sumo Championship held in the city of Rakvere (Estonia) won two five medals - three "gold" and two "silver".
Professor of the Department of Law Enforcement and Policing of the Faculty No. 6 Olena Syniavska and Associate Professor of the Department of Humanitarian Disciplines of Sumy Branch of KhNUIA Yuliia Samoilova took part in the online training in English "2002/2022/ONL Police English Language" on the LEEd CEPOL online educational platform, developed by the Agency of the European Union for the Training of Law Enforcement Agencies (CEPOL) together with the British Language Centre.
