The staff of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs joined the all-Ukrainian campaign "Light a candle" on Holodomor Memorial Day, which is celebrated in Ukraine every year on the fourth Saturday of November. Today, events commemorating the victims of the Stalinist regime take place during Russia's full-scale war against Ukraine, under the slogan "We remember. We unite. We will win."
Curators of the Faculty No. 6 - the staff of the Department of Legal Support of Entrepreneurial Activity and Financial Security Yevhenia Ananieva, Daria Korobtsova, Artem Podorozhnii and Artem Dobrovinskyi held meetings with students of their groups dedicated to one of the most terrible pages in the history of Ukraine - Holodomor of 1932-1933.
Larysa Sazanova, senior lecturer of the Department of Foreign Languages of the Faculty No. 4 and curator of the first-year group, held a conversation "Formation of the speech culture of a police officer." The peculiarities of the activity of law enforcement officers, the ability to correctly and clearly express one's opinion during communication with representatives of different strata of the population were discussed.
For cadets of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs, lectures on the topic "Holodomor in Ukraine 1932-1933" were held. It was caused by forced collectivization, unrealistic plans for grain procurement, the policy of disarmament and outright terror against the rural population of Ukraine.
The social-humanitarian department of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs and the youth policy department of Vinnytsia City Council conducted a patriotic intellectual game "Journey through Ukraine in two hours" among cadet teams.
Every year, on the fourth Saturday of November, the memory of millions of victims of Holodomor is commemorated in Ukraine. In the 20th century, Ukrainians experienced it three times. The largest number of human victims was the famine of 1932–1933.
Acting Dean of the Faculty No. 4 Mykola Marchuk, Deputy Dean of the Faculty No. 4 Yurii Onyshchenko and Professor of the Department of Constitutional and International Law Andrii Voitsikhovskyi held a meeting with cadets of Faculties No. 1 and No. 4 on the occasion of the International Day of Combating Violence Against Women.
On the initiative of the management of the Faculty No. 3 of KhNUIA, a career orientation meeting with students of the 11th grade of Vinnytsia Lyceum No. 6 was held by the associate professor of the Department of Pedagogy and Psychology of the Faculty No. 3 Pavlo Chervonyi, the assistant professor of the Department of Operative and Investigative Activity and Crime Detection of the Faculty No. 2, Police Lieutenant Colonel Iryna Shynkarenko, and cadets of the third course Olha Chorna, Dariia Korotka, Bohdan Vasiutin and Maksym Kharchenko.
For the cadets of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs, the lecturer of the Department of Tactical and Special Physical Training of the Faculty No. 3, Anna Tsyrkulenko, and the inspector of platoon No. 2 of Company No. 2 of Battalion No. 3 of the Patrol Police Department in Kharkiv Region of the Department of Patrol Police, Senior Lieutenant of the Police Yaroslava Liubutyna, conducted tactical training binary class on the topic "Peculiarities of service by the patrol police under martial law".
Professor of the Department of Pedagogy and Psychology of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs, Doctor of Psychological Sciences, Professor Nataliia Miloradova and Associate Professor of the same Department, Associate Professor Victoriia Dotsenko, as part of the annual All-Ukrainian action "16 days against violence" for first-year cadets of Faculty No. 3, conducted "Training on issues of prevention and against domestic violence".
