Dear scientists of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs! Accept the most sincere congratulations on the occasion of celebrating World Science Day in the name of peace and development! This year's World Day has taken on a special meaning. In order to establish peace in the state and its future development, scientists had to not only defend their scientific front: continue research, work on developments in the defense and security spheres, engage in volunteering, but also defend Ukraine with weapons.
Associate Professor of the Department of Civil and Legal Disciplines of the Faculty No. 4, Oksana Bortnik, held a career orientation meeting with the administration of Kharkiv Secondary School of Grades I-III No. 125 of Kharkiv City Council of Kharkiv Region.
As part of the teaching of the special course "Actions of investigative and operational groups of the National Police of Ukraine on documenting war crimes" for scientific and pedagogical staff and students of higher education of faculties No. 2 and No. 3, the deputy head of the MDNP in Vinnytsia Region - the head of the Investigative Department conducted a binary class on the peculiarities of documenting war crimes crimes.
The Department of Recruiting and Organization of Career Guidance Work held online meetings with future graduates of "Kharkiv Lyceum with Enhanced Military Physical Training "Riatuvalnyk" of Kharkiv Regional Council". The head of the lyceum Serhii Forostovets, deputy head of educational work Vitalii Sahaidachnyi, assistant to the rector Viktor Slysh and more than 30 locations of graduates of the lyceum took part in the online meeting.
During the teaching of the special course "Actions of investigative and operative groups of the National Police of Ukraine in territories freed from occupation on documenting war crimes" for students of higher education of the graduation course of the Faculty No. 1 of KhNUIA the Head of the Department of Criminology, Forensic Expertise and Pre-Medical Training of the Faculty No. 1 Vasyl Kikinchuk, Professor of the Department of Criminal Law and Criminology of the Faculty No. 1 Kyryl Cherevko together with a forensic specialist of the Department of Forensic Support of the MDNP in Khmelnytskyi Region, a senior lieutenant of the police Mykola Prokopets, conducted a binary practical session on the topic "Technical and forensic support for documenting war crimes".
Vice-rector of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs Serhii Bortnyk paid a working visit to Faculties No. 1 and No. 4 in Khmelnytskyi region. The vice-rector inspected the territory of the higher education institution and the dormitory, inspected the shelter and the canteen. Serhii Bortnyk also visited the educational building and classrooms, talked with the cadets about food and accommodation.
At all locations where Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs is located, the staff, cadets and students participated in writing the All-Ukrainian radio dictation of national unity, which is traditionally held on the Day of Ukrainian Writing and Language and is celebrated every year on November 9.
Another online meeting of the scientific circle of the Department of Cyber Security and DATA-technologies of the Faculty No. 6, dedicated to the issues of scientific research work of students, took place. The Head of the circle, Associate Professor of the Department of Cyber Security and DATA-technologies Volodymyr Tulupov, together with the group members, reviewed directions for scientific research and materials for reports to the round table "Application of information technologies in law enforcement activities", which will be held online on December 14, 2022, at Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs.
Russia's war against our country made it necessary to review the existing approaches to training police officers in higher education institutions with specific learning conditions. Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs under the leadership of the Department of Education, Science and Sports of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine implements new innovative methods of working with cadets, pays a lot of attention to the practical component of training future defenders of the rights and freedoms of citizens, the interests of the state, and its territorial integrity.
The 2nd year cadets of Sumy branch of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs, together with the psychologist of the personnel department Anna Yarovaia, took part in the events dedicated to the World Mental Health Day. The meeting was held online by the European Union Advisory Mission for Reforming the Civil Security Sector of Ukraine (EUAM).
