As part of non-formal (informal) education, cadets of the ERI No. 1 completed the online course "Civil Defense and Protection in Emergency Situations". The program was aimed at developing knowledge and practical skills necessary for action in the event of emergencies.

The active members of the scientific circle of the Department of Criminal Law and Criminology of the ERI No. 1, led by Associate Professor of the Department Tetiana SHEVCHUK and Lecturer of the Department Olena HORASH, took part in the webinar "Academic Integrity: Challenges, Problems and Prospects". The event was joined by Associate Professor of the Department of Theory and History of State and Law Olena YUSHKEVYCH.

Associate Professor of the Department of Criminal Law and Criminology of the ERI No. 1 Tetiana SHEVCHUK held an online career guidance meeting with future graduates of Chornohuziv Lyceum of Vyzhnytsia City Council, Vyzhnytsia District, Chernivtsi Region. She presented the educational and scientific institutes and specialties in which specialists are trained.

For cadets of the ERI No. 1, a lesson on the topic "Historical development of statehood and legal systems of Germany and Italy in the 19th century" was conducted by Professor of the Department of Theory and History of State and Law Yulia ZAHUMENNA and Head of Sector CPO No. 2 of the Department of Interaction with Communities of Kamyanets-Podilskyi DPD Main Police Department in Khmelnytskyi Region Oleh HORBANIUK.

The next meeting of the scientific circle "Current Problems of the Theory and History of State and Law" was held, organized by the Department of Theory and History of State and Law. The event was held in a mixed format - in person at the university location in the city of Kamianets-Podilskyi and remotely using an online platform.

Senior lecturer of the Department of Criminal Law and Criminology of the ERI No. 1 Yulia INSHEKOVA held a series of thematic discussions on the topics "Observance of traffic safety rules" and "Rules for wearing police uniforms" with cadets of the ERI No. 1. She highlighted typical situations that may occur in the lives of cadets and discussed with them the relevant rules of conduct.

The Research Laboratory on Pre-Trial Investigation Problems of the ERI No. 1 of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs is actively expanding the career guidance direction. To this end, cooperation was established with the Municipal Institution "Kharkiv Lyceum No. 82" of Kharkiv City Council.

Senior lecturer of the Department of Criminology and Forensic Expertise of the ERI No. 1 Kateryna PENZIEVA told high school students about the educational and scientific institutes and specialties in which specialists are trained at KhNUIA, about the conditions of study, life and leisure of young people.

The curator of educational activities of the Department of Social and Humanitarian Work, Liliia TOVSTOPIAT, held informational and educational meetings with students of the ERI No. 1–5, dedicated to the topic of a barrier-free environment.

Cadets of the ERI No. 1 visited a veteran of the Russian-Ukrainian war. During a warm and sincere conversation, he shared his memories of service, recalled his comrades and the trials that befell him at the front. Such meetings are important for strengthening the bond between generations: they form respect, gratitude and help preserve the living memory of the heroic deeds of our defenders.
