In order to popularize sports among cadets, their military-patriotic education, development of physical and moral and volitional qualities as future officers of the National Police of Ukraine, a sports marathon among cadets of 1-4 courses was launched at the initiative of the Dean, Lieutenant Colonel Vitalii Romaniuk as part of the extracurricular activities.
The final year students had their final certification, which included passing the exam in the discipline "Theory of State and Law". The attestation commission included qualified scientific and pedagogical staff of the Department of Theory and History of State and Law, as well as representatives of Kamianets-Podilskyi Department of the National Police in Khmelnytskyi region.
400 participants from different regions of Ukraine will compete for the title of being the best and strongest. Representatives of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs will also take part in the prestigious competition. Welcoming the participants of the championship, the Rector of the university, Police General of the third rank Valerii Sokurenko noted that the police university pays much attention to sports, which is an integral part of the education of future law enforcement officers.

They explained to young people the devastating consequences of drug addiction on human health, the main signs of drug addiction and modern principles of effective treatment.
Yuliia Bezusa, Associate Professor of the Department of Theory and History of State and Law of the Faculty No. 1, held an online career guidance meeting with graduates of Kharkiv Lyceum No. 34 of Kharkiv City Council. She familiarized future applicants with this year's admission requirements, provided information about the faculties and specialties in which specialists are trained.
With the assistance of the Department of Criminalistics, Forensic Science and Pre-medical Training of the Faculty No. 1 of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs, officers of Sinelnyk District Police Department of the Main Directorate of the National Police in Dnipro Oblast met with high school students of Raiev Lyceum of Sinelnyk District.
The academic staff of the Department of Criminal Law and Criminology of the Faculty No. 1 - Head of the Department Yurii Orlov, Associate Professor Ivan Krytsak, Senior Lecturer Kostiantyn Shevelev and Lecturer Olena Horash - completed a series of short-term training courses aimed at developing soft skills in the field of countering fakes and disinformation.
