
The meeting was attended by the Directors of Educational and Research Institutes No. 1 and No. 4, Vitalii ROMANIUK and Mykola MARCHUK. The First Vice-Rector talked with the graduating cadets about the defense of internship materials, passing exams and further performance of official duties at the place of service.

The visit was related to the preparation of students of the master's degree program for the II International Scientific and Practical Conference "Crime and Counteraction to It in War Conditions and in the Post-War Perspective: Interdisciplinary Panorama". The event was held by Professor of the Department of Constitutional and International Law and Human Rights Yevhenia LOHVYNENKO.

The classes were conducted by the Head of the human rights sector of Kamianets-Podilskyi DPD of the Main Police Department in Khmelnytskyi region, Vitalii KAVKALO, the Head of the TDC No. 4 of the Main Police Department in Khmelnytskyi region, Volodymyr SOKOLAN, his deputy Yaroslav BONDARCHUK, and the associate professor of the Department of Criminal Procedure and Organization of Pre-Trial Investigation of the ERI No. 1, Inna STROK.

Associate Professor of the Department of Criminal Law and Criminology of the ERI No. 1, Tetiana SHEVCHUK, as a result of an international internship under the program "Best Practices and Innovations in Higher Education: International Experience of Lithuania", became a full member of the Lithuanian Scientific Society.

A meeting with cadets of the ERI No. 1 on this topic was held under the leadership of Ihor ZOZULIA, curator and Professor of the Department of Criminology and Forensic Expertise. He introduced the main regulatory requirements and ethical standards that regulate the activities of police officers.

Senior lecturer of the Department of Criminal Law and Criminology of the ERI No. 1 Yulia INSHEKOVA, during an online meeting, told students from Chernivtsi about the university, Educational and Research Institutes and specialties in which specialists for police departments are trained, and also provided detailed information about the admission requirements.

This was the topic of another optional class at the School of Scientific Leadership of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs, which was conducted by the Head of the Department of Criminal Law and Criminology of the ERI No. 1, Doctor of Law, Professor Yurii ORLOV.

The event, which took place at Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs, was organized within the framework of the flagship partnership of the EU and the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) in Ukraine “EU4RECOVERY – Empowering Communities in Ukraine”.

On February 26-28, 2025, the kettlebell championship among cadets of higher education institutions of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine was held at Lviv State University of Internal Affairs in Lviv. 11 teams took part in the championship, including the team of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs.

EUAM representatives in Ukraine conducted a training of trainers course on the use of open source information (OSINT) and criminal investigations for the scientific and pedagogical staff of Departments, Research laboratories of the ERI No. 1-4, as well as cadets of the ERI No. 2-4 of KhNUIA.
