Associate Professor of the Department of Criminal Law and Criminology of the ERI No. 1, Candidate of Law, Associate Professor, Police Lieutenant Colonel Ivan KRITSAK conducted a binary lesson on the academic discipline “Fundamentals of Legal Knowledge: Criminal Law” for first-year cadets of the ERI No. 4.

The Head of the juvenile prevention sector of the department of interaction with citizens of Kamianets-Podilskyi DPD of the Main Department of the National Police of Khmelnytskyi region, Kateryna RODINA, and the Associate pprofessor of the Department of Administrative Activity of the ERI No. 3, Diana KIRIKA, held a lesson for students on the topic "Prevention and Counteraction to Cruelty to Children."

The Leading specialist of the Practical Training Department of the Educational Process Organization Department of Kharkiv National Institute of Internal Affairs, Larysa IVANOVA, held a consultative meeting with 3rd–4th year cadets of the ERI No. 1-3, who are studying in the specialties "Law" and "Law Enforcement Activities".

A 1st-year cadet of the ERI No. 1, Maria OLIINYK, held an online meeting with graduating students and told them about the procedure and conditions for entering the university, as well as the peculiarities of studying there. The boys and girls were actively interested in the educational process and the daily life of the cadets.

As part of the cooperation between Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs and the Ukrainian Red Cross Society, a first aid training was conducted for cadets of the Educational and Research Institutes No. 1 and No. 4. Its goal is to increase the level of awareness of future law enforcement officers regarding the provision of emergency care in critical situations.

A cooperation has been launched between KhNUIA and the TransJus Research Institute of the University of Barcelona (Institut de Recerca TransJus Universidad de Barcelona). At the initiative of the International Cooperation Department, about 100 representatives of the scientific and pedagogical staff and higher education students of KhNUIA took part in a webinar of foreign experts.

Professor of the Department of Criminal Process and Organization of Pre-Trial Investigation of the ERI No. 1 Oksana PCHELINA introduced future applicants to the profession of a police officer, the structure of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs, and the specialties in which specialists are trained for the NPU units.
