On the eve of the UN Future Summit, the NORRAG Global Education Center (Geneva, Switzerland) publishes a collection of materials from around the world on youth participation in the governance of the United Nations at the national or local levels. On the initiative of Oksana Tsukan, Assistant Rector on Gender Issues, students Oksana Sobko, Anna Dzhus, and Olena Zhuravska prepared their own essays in English for the international collection.
Curators of educational work, specialists of the Department of Social and Humanitarian Work Valentina Lavrusenko, Natalia Kuznetsova, Maria Artiukhova and Andrii Prokhorov held conversations on bullying prevention for students of the ERI №№1-4.
Miliena Tsvietkova, a 2nd year student of the ERI #2, who is studying Accounting and Taxation, participates in the international youth exchange program “Generation impact- Cultural Activists!”, which takes place in Pakrac (Republic of Croatia).
On the International Student Sports Day, students of the Educational and Research Institutes №№ 1-5 competed in various sports: kettlebell relay, football and basketball. During the competition, the struggle between the teams was emotional, intense and persistent. The players demonstrated team spirit, will to win and spent time with health benefits.
This was the topic of a binary lesson for the cadets of the ERI #2, who practiced the methods of conducting a surface check, as well as the technique of handcuffing in different positions. The practical lesson was conducted by Oleksii Patsaliuk, an instructor at the training center of Vinnytsia Regional Police, together with representatives of the Department of Tactical and Special Training.
A binary lesson on the discipline “Criminalistics” was held with the 3rd year students of the ERI No. 2 with the participation of Natalia Todorovska, a senior criminalist of the Criminalistics Department of the Investigation Department of the Main Department of the National Police in Vinnytsia region, and Oleksandr Yukhno, a professor of the Department of Criminalistics and Forensic Science of the ERI No. 1.
For applicants for higher education of KhNUIA, curators for educational work of the ERI №№ 1-4, specialists of the Department of Social and Humanitarian Work Valentyna Lavrusenko, Maria Artiukhova, Andrii Prokhorov and Nataliia Kuznetsova held conversations about information security and the role of social networks in the modern world.
The university continues to hold classes with combatants and war veterans who are undergoing treatment and recovering from injuries. Experienced university educators, who are repeated winners of competitions in Ukraine, Europe and the world, are convinced that the best assistant in rehabilitation is sports.
A binary lesson on the discipline “Administrative Law” was held for 2nd year students of the ERI №2. It was conducted by Nataliia Todorovska, Senior Specialist Criminalist of the Criminalistics Department of the Main Department of the Main Police in Vinnytsia Region, and Iryna Kazanchuk, Associate Professor of the Department of Administrative Law and Procedure of the № ERI 3.
The 2nd year cadets of the ERI №4 acquired the necessary knowledge and practiced a set of self-defense techniques: stances (frontal, right, left, waiting, combat); movement in stances (direction of gaze, observation of the situation, combat distance, vulnerable places on the human body); punches (fist, elbow, base of the palm, forearm), etc.
