On the occasion of UNESCO World Day, which is celebrated annually on November 4, employees of the Social and Humanitarian Work Department held information and educational hours dedicated to the activities of UNESCO for students of the Educational and Research institutes No. 1-5, Sumy branch and Kremenchuk Flight College.

A lecture on providing first aid in the event of an epileptic seizure was held for the staff of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs. The event was held as part of the classes "Providing first aid to students with special educational needs."

The Department of Special Physical Training of the Educational and Research Institute No. 2 held a joint training session with war veteran Viktor Kharkavliuk, a combatant, war invalid, master of sports in weightlifting, who was wounded near Kupiansk.

Professor of the Department of Tactical and Special Training of the ERI No. 2, Kostiantyn RADCHENKO, together with instructors from the "Demining Center of Ukraine" for higher education students of the study group of the ERI No. 3, held a lesson during which they discussed "Classification and tactical and technical characteristics of explosive objects."

During a practical lesson in the discipline "Tactical and Special Training" on the basics of topography and terrain orientation, future investigators were introduced to the classification and nomenclature of topographic maps, types of relief, and tactical properties of the terrain.

The professionals of the future are being trained. Our training sessions are filled with practice and modern approaches - cadets receive not only theoretical knowledge, but also hone the skills needed in real police operations.

In order to strengthen the military and patriotic education of youth and increase the level of safety among students, senior lecturers of the Department of Tactical and Special Training of the Educational and Research Institute No. 2 Mykhailo BAMBULIAK and Oleh YANKOVSKYI, together with cadets of the ERI No. 4 Dmytro KARPOV and Oleksandr MARYNKEVYCH, conducted an educational and preventive lesson for students of Secondary School No. 1 of grades I–III of the city of Khotyn, Chernivtsi region.

During the regular meeting, members of the center discussed the legal and organizational principles of mine action in Ukraine, as well as the features of state regulation in this area.

Representatives of the Department of Tactical and Special Training of the Educational and Research Institute No. 2, together with the instructor of the 120th Brigade of the Military Medical Corps of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, conducted another practical lesson in the discipline "Tactical and Special Training" for the cadets of the ERI No. 3.

The Ukrainian Cup in Kettlebell Sports was held in Kyiv, which brought together the strongest athletes of the country. The team of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs adequately represented the institution, demonstrating a high level of physical training, endurance and sportsmanship.
