
In the city of Sviatohirsk, Donetsk region, the “Legendary Swim” swimming competitions took place at a distance of 4.7 km and 16 km. Vladyslav Burkhailo, a lecturer at the Department of Tactical and Special Physical Training, Senior Police Lieutenant, took part in a 16 km swim, which he covered with a total result of 3 hours and 30 minutes.

Lecturers of the Department of Tactical and Special Physical Training of the Faculty № 2 conducted a practical lesson on tactical special training on "Practice of certain tactical actions of the National Police under intense fire contact" using paintball equipment with cadets of the university.

Today, Kharkiv Police University opened its doors to applicants who came to study from all over our country. The leadership and personally the Rector, Police General of the 3-rd rank Valerii Sokurenko made a lot of efforts to ensure that the campaign was conducted objectively, clearly, in a coordinated manner, on the basis of democracy, transparency, and openness, in accordance with Ukrainian legislation.

Olena Ustymenko, Head of International Cooperation Department, together with Tetyana Sokolan, Coordinator of the Council of Europe Project “Observance of Human Rights in the Criminal Justice System of Ukraine” conducted binary classes on the subject "International Protection of Human Rights" for cadets № 2 study groups 201 and 202 on the topic "International protection of human rights during armed conflicts".

The cadets of Faculty №1, group 302, of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs together with their tutor, a lecturer of the Department of Criminal Law and Criminology of faculty №2 Tetiana Shevchuk, visited the museum named after A.S. Makarenko in the village of Podvirky of Derhachi district in Kharkiv region.

The summer polyathlon championship of Ukraine (adults, juniors, youths) took place in Lutsk. 26 teams from different regions of Ukraine took part in the competition. The cadets of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs took part in the team of Kharkiv region.

Cadets of the third course of Faculty № 2 of KhNUIA within the cultural and educational hour visited the city garden named after T.G. Shevchenko, which is one of the favorite places of relaxation of Kharkiv residents and guests of the city.

The competition for the title of "Best Law Enforcement Officer" ended at the university, in which five teams from the faculties №№ 1-4 and the Institute of Postgraduate Education took part. According to the results of the assessment of the correctness of the tasks, the winner and prize-winners of the competition were determined.

On the eve of the World Environment Day, with the assistance of the trade union of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs, the first-year cadets of faculties № 2 and № 3 together with curators of groups Senior Lecturers Nataliia Yelnikova, Inna Holopych, Olena Makarova visited Feldman-Ecopark.

The first vice-rector of the university, police colonel Dmytro Shvets, met with cadets of graduation courses of faculties № 2, 3, and 4. The event was also attended by deans of faculties, course officers, employees of the human resources department, and psychological support services.
