Under the chairmanship of the Head of the department, Professor Iryna SIEVIDOVA, another meeting of the scientific circle was held at the Department of Social and Economic Disciplines. Higher education students and teachers discussed topical issues of modern accounting in Ukraine.

Senior police officer of Poltava Regional Police Department No. 1 of Poltava Regional Police Department Anatolii BORODAI, together with senior lecturer of the Department of Language Training of KhNUIA Natalia HORBACH and lecturer Yulia BORTNYK, conducted a binary lesson on the discipline “Foreign Language of Professional Orientation” for third-year cadets of the ERI No. 2.

The event, which took place at Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs, was organized within the framework of the flagship partnership of the EU and the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) in Ukraine “EU4RECOVERY – Empowering Communities in Ukraine”.

On February 26-28, 2025, the kettlebell championship among cadets of higher education institutions of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine was held at Lviv State University of Internal Affairs in Lviv. 11 teams took part in the championship, including the team of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs.

EUAM representatives in Ukraine conducted a training of trainers course on the use of open source information (OSINT) and criminal investigations for the scientific and pedagogical staff of Departments, Research laboratories of the ERI No. 1-4, as well as cadets of the ERI No. 2-4 of KhNUIA.

Scientific and pedagogical workers of the Department of Tactical and Special Training of the ERI No. 2, together with the police officers of the rifle battalion of the special purpose police of the Main Police Department of Vinnytsia region, held a binary lesson for the cadets of the ERI No. 2 on the topic "Tactics of external search and internal inspection of buildings in the "Active Shooter" mode".

The Leading specialist of the Practical Training Department of the Educational Process Organization Department of Kharkiv National Institute of Internal Affairs, Larysa IVANOVA, held a consultative meeting with 3rd–4th year cadets of the ERI No. 1-3, who are studying in the specialties "Law" and "Law Enforcement Activities".

Dear employees, students of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs! Your help is needed. Yurii Anatoliiovych BOLOBAN, father of a 4th-year cadet of the ERI No. 4, Ruslan BOLOBAN, was killed during a combat mission in Zolochiv direction as a result of artillery fire.

A cooperation has been launched between KhNUIA and the TransJus Research Institute of the University of Barcelona (Institut de Recerca TransJus Universidad de Barcelona). At the initiative of the International Cooperation Department, about 100 representatives of the scientific and pedagogical staff and higher education students of KhNUIA took part in a webinar of foreign experts.

Scientific and pedagogical staff of the Department of Tactical and Special Training of the ERI No. 2 Volodymyr Yevtushok, Serhii KUCHYNSKYI, together with servicemen of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, conducted lessons for second-year cadets of the ERI No. 4. They taught students to improve tactics of actions in arranging positions using trench tools.
