At the initiative of the university's founder Oleksandr Bandurka and with the active support of Rector Valerii Sokurenko, the university's research paper competition "History of Law Enforcement" was launched in 2021.
The jury of the competition, which is being held for the third time, received 51 scientific works of cadets and students, from which 11 best ones were selected

On the occasion of the University Day, the academic staff of the Department of Police Activity and Public Administration of the Faculty № 3 prepared and conducted a series of lectures on the topic "History of My Alma Mater" for 1-2 year students of Faculties №№ 2, 3 and 4. Celebrations on the occasion of the 10th anniversary of the beginning of the Revolution of Dignity were held at all locations of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs. Rector Valerii Sokurenko congratulated the university staff - employees, cadets, students, master's and adjunct students - on the occasion of the 10th anniversary of the Revolution of Dignity.

During the morning formation of the personnel of the Faculties No. 2 and No. 3, Rector of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs Valerii Sokurenko congratulated and presented awards to the winners and prize-winners of the Dynamo Ukraine Football Club Championship in kettlebell lifting under the Dynamiada-2023 program of complex competitions.

The national team of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs took part in the city intellectual game "BattleUm", organized by the Department of Social and Humanitarian Work of the University and the Department of Youth Policy of Vinnytsia City Council.

The teams of the Faculty № 2 of KhNUIA competed in five weight categories among boys and three among girls. The 2nd year team showed the best results. It won five gold, four silver and seven bronze medals.

On the occasion of the International Student's Day in Ukraine, the Department of Social and Humanitarian Work held a video lecture on "No Science Without Latin" for students of the Faculties № 2 and № 3 of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs.

Serhii Kozachenko, Head of the Department of Investigative Activities and Crime Solution of the Faculty № 2 of KhNUIA, organized a series of on-site binary classes at the temporary detention center of Vinnytsia District Police Department of the Main Department of the National Police in Vinnytsia region for 3rd year cadets - future criminal police officers.
