Curator, lecturer of the Department of Criminal Procedure and Organisation of Pre-trial Investigation Iryna Nechaieva held an educational hour with the cadets of the ERI No. 1 on the topic of Road Traffic Safety. She provided statistics on road traffic accidents, explained the importance of observing traffic rules for pedestrians and drivers.

Briefing of master's students before the internship

Representatives of the management staff of the ERI No. 1 and No. 3, heads of internships, employees of the Department of Educational Process Organisation and the Monitoring Department conducted a briefing with second-year master's students studying in the specialities of Law and Psychology.

This was the theme of a conference organised by the University of Warsaw in cooperation with the Pilecki Institute, in which Ksenia Yurtaieva, Associate Professor of the Department of Criminal Law and Criminology, PhD in Law, Associate Professor, took part. She was a panelist at the panel ‘Autonomy, Independence and Security in the Post-Soviet Space’.

Peculiarities of providing legal aid to people affected by war

This was the topic of a workshop attended by master's students of the Educational and Research Institute No. 1, Victoria Bila and Bohdana Chupyra. The event was aimed at improving professional competencies in the field of legal work with victims of armed conflict.

Investigator of the Investigation Department of the Police Station No. 1 in the city of Borshchiv of Chortkiv District Police Department of the National Police in Ternopil Region, Vasyl Panasiuk, together with Vita Filipska, Associate Professor of the Department of Language Training of KhNUIA, and Larysa Sazanova, Senior Lecturer of the same department, conducted a binary lesson on the topic ‘Serve and Protect’ for fourth-year students of the ERI No. 1.

Binary class on the basics of administrative and jurisdictional activities

Investigator of Pervomaiskyi District Police Department of Mykolaiv Region Victoria Bila together with Associate Professor of the Department of Administrative Law and Procedure of the ERI №3 Valentyna Yatsenko conducted a class for the first-year students of the ERI №1. They studied the composition of administrative offences, found out their connection with criminal offences, etc.

Improving professional skills

Representatives of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs took part in the training on ‘Sexual Violence during Armed Conflict’, which took place in Uzhhorod. During the training, the participants analysed the legal framework of both domestic and international legislation applicable during armed conflict, considered the facts of sexual violence with a focus on Ukraine.
