The cadets and staff of the Educational and Research Institute №1 of KhNUIA once again visited the pre-school educational institution №17 ‘Svitliachok’ of Kamianets-Podilskyi City Council. This time they brought stationery and sweets to the children.
The Ukrainian Powerlifting Championship was held in Kolomyia, Ivano-Frankivsk region, in which Valentyn Balkovyi, a 4th year cadet of the Educational and Research Institute No. 1 of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs, took part. According to the results of the competition, the athlete of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs fulfilled the standard of the candidate for master of sports of Ukraine.
Olena Yushkevych, Associate Professor of the Department of Theory and History of State and Law, held an educational event for the cadets of the ERI No. 1 dedicated to the 30th anniversary of the granting of university status to KhNUIA. The lecture covered the history of the university, its achievements and importance in training specialists for the law enforcement system of Ukraine.
On the eve of the Day of Social Worker, First Vice-Rector Viktor Vasylenko and Vice-Rector Oleksandr Muzychuk, the management of the ERI No. 1-5 of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs met with students who are most in need of parental support and care.
For the first-year students of the ERI No. 1, the class was conducted by Victoria Bila, an investigator at the Police Investigation Department No. 1 of Pervomaiskyi District Police Department of the Main Police Department in Mykolaiv Region, and Nataliia Yelnikova, a senior lecturer at the Department of Humanities and Ukrainian Studies of the ERI No. 5.
Viktor Lazariev, Professor of the Department of Theory and History of State and Law, and Olena Yushkevych, Associate Professor of the same department, held a curatorial hour for students of the ERI No. 1, in which Roman Savchenko, Head of the Information Protection Department of the Information and Analytical Support Department of the National Police in Kharkiv Region, took part.
On the eve of the Foundation Day of the European Union, which is celebrated annually in the EU member states on 1 November, curators of the Department of Social and Humanitarian Work held informational and educational talks for higher education students of the Educational and Research Institutes No. 1-4.
The students of the master's degree programme of the ERI No. 1, Yehor Skurykhin and Alina Lomova, the cadet of the ERI No. 2, Dmytro Shelesko and a lecturer of the Department of Special Physical Training of the ERI No. 2, Anton Chernikov, are at the training camp in Bangkok (Thailand), where they are preparing for the European Muay Thai Boxing Championships in the Republic of Kosovo.
An educational event for the cadet group of the ERI No. 1 dedicated to the 30th anniversary of KhNUIA as a university was held by Professor Yuliia Zahumenna, Professor of the Department of Theory and History of State and Law. The lecture covered the historical development of the university, its achievements and role in training personnel for the law enforcement system of Ukraine.
Associate Professor of the Department of Language Training of KhNUIA Valentyna Kochyna during the lesson on ‘Police equipment. Vehicles’ discussed with the second-year cadets of the ER №1 the types of vehicles used by police units of foreign countries and a number of issues in the field of patrol police in the USA, Great Britain and Canada.
