First-year cadets of the ERI #1 and #4 under the scientific guidance of Viktor Lazariev, Professor of the Department of Theory and History of State and Law, and Olena Yushkevych, assistant professor of the same department, took part in the 18th All-Ukrainian scientific and practical online conference "Problems of legal science through the eyes of young scientists".
This innovative educational project was introduced by the Department of Civil, Labor and Economic Law of the ERI No. 1 and is designed for three academic years - from 2023 to 2026. On the occasion of the continuation of the project in the 2024-2025 academic year, an event was held with the participation of the heads of the ERI No. 1 and No. 4, the coordinator of the Module and expert teachers of the project.
Vita Filipska, Associate Professor of the Department of Language Training of KhNUIA, and Larysa Sazanova, Senior Lecturer of the same department, together with Diana Shpak, Investigator of the Investigation Department of Sumy District Police Department of the Main Department of the National Police in Sumy Region, conducted a binary lesson on ‘Classification of Evidence’ for 4th year cadets of the ERI No. 1.
To acquire practical skills in the M.A.R.S.N. algorithm, second-year students of the ERI No. 1 learnt to apply tourniquets and a compression bandage, as well as tamponade wounds. The binary lesson was conducted by Vitalii Paraniuk, a community police officer, and Volodymyr Yevtushok and Serhii Kuchynskyi, senior lecturers of the Department of Tactical and Special Training at the ERI No. 2.
As part of the dissemination of positive experience in non-formal (informal) education, higher education students together with the leadership of the ERI №1 took the course ‘Studying International Humanitarian Law’ on the educational online platform ‘Prometheus’.
Representatives of the Department of Social and Humanitarian Work of the University held informational and educational talks on the topic ‘Military Traditions of Ukraine’ for students of the Institute of Law and Order. In recent years, military symbols, rituals and traditions have regained their true historical basis.
Oleksandr Barbaniuk, an investigator of the Department for Detection of Crimes Committed Against Life and Health of a Person of Kamianets-Podilskyi District Police Department of the Main Directorate of the National Police in Khmelnytskyi Region, and Nataliia Shyshka, Associate Professor of the Department of Civil, Labour and Commercial Law of the ERI No. 1, conducted a binary lesson on ‘Property Rights and Other Proprietary Rights’ for the students of the ERI No. 4.
The issues of conducting investigative (search) actions, in particular search and inspection, were considered by students of the study groups of the ERI No. 2 during the classes conducted by Valeriia Hnatenko, Associate Professor of the Department of Criminal Procedure and Organisation of Pre-trial Investigation of the Institute of Education and Research No. 1, together with Oleksandr Hurin, Deputy Head of Vinnytsia Regional Prosecutor's Office.
Bohdana Chupyra, investigator of the Investigation Department of Uman District Police Department of the Main Department of the National Police in Cherkasy Region, together with Valentyna Yatsenko, Associate Professor of the Department of Administrative Law and Procedure, conducted classes with students of the ERI No. 1. They studied the composition of an administrative offense and found out its importance for the work of law enforcement agencies.
The World Kettlebell Lifting Championships were held on the island of Kerkyra (Greece), in which athletes from 30 countries took part. Yaroslava Kremel, a cadet of the University, entered the National Team of Ukraine. The girl adequately represented our country and took the third place in the competition.
