Lecturers of the Department of Tactical and Special Training of the ERI №2 Serhii Tiahai and Mykhailo Bambuliak together with the Chief of Staff of the TRO Battalion Oleh Myshchyshyn conducted a lesson on providing first aid according to the M.A.R.C.H. algorithm for the 3rd year cadets of the ERI №1.
Associate Professor of the Department of Criminal Law and Criminology, Yaroslav Lyzohub, together with Olha Melnychuk, a cadet of the ERI No. 1 of KhNUIA, met with the graduates and management of Khotyn Support Academic Lyceum of Khotyn City Council of Chernivtsi Region.
University vice-rector Serhii Bortnyk met with the junior commanders of the university's cadet units. He emphasized compliance with the law, official discipline, flawless fulfillment of the requirements of the Oath of a police officer, statutes, orders, norms of professional and official ethics.
The curator of the group, assistant professor of the department of criminal law and criminology of the ERI No. 1 of KhNUIA, Ksenia Yurtaieva, during a meeting with the cadets, spoke about the occupation of Ukraine from June 22, 1941 to October 28, 1944, war crimes committed by the Nazi occupiers against the civilian population.
As part of the cooperation between the representatives of the cadet council of the Educational and Research Institute No. 1 and the Youth Centre in Khmelnytskyi, classes for active and creative youth were held. Thanks to the positive impact of art therapy, cadets had the opportunity to restore inner balance and understand their emotions more deeply.
Olena Yushkevych, curator of the study group of the ERI No. 1, Associate Professor of the Department of Theory and History of State and Law, introduced the cadets to the peculiarities of reporting possible facts of corruption or corruption-related offences, other violations of the Law of Ukraine ‘On Prevention of Corruption’ committed by police officers and civil servants.
Kyrylo Cherevko, Professor of the Department of Criminal Law and Criminology of the ERI №1, held an online career guidance meeting with students of Ivanovetskyi Lyceum of Kelmenetska territorial community of Chernivtsi region. He told the graduates about the conditions of admission and study at Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs.
Traditionally, on the Day of Ukrainian Writing and Language, teachers, schoolchildren, students, scientists, politicians, public figures, as well as those who care about the fate of their native language both in their homeland and far beyond its borders, write a radio dictation of national unity. Holding such a large-scale event is an extremely important initiative to unite many fans around the Ukrainian language and culture.
For the first-year students of the ERI No. 1, a binary lesson on the topic ‘Measures of police coercion, handcuffing with observance of personal safety measures’ was conducted by senior lecturers of the Department of Tactical and Special Training of the ERI No. 2 Viktor Yasko and Mykhailo Bambuliak, a police platoon officer of the Patrol Police Battalion Maksym Tatarintsev.
