On the occasion of the Day of Defenders of Ukraine, higher education students of the Educational and Research Institutes №№ 1-4 competed in various sports: gymnastic and power complex, complex relay race “Police Quest”, tug of war.
Binary classes on the topic “Tactics of police officers in cooperation with the subject” were held. The students of the ERI No. 1 practiced stopping a vehicle, checking documents, and observing security measures while on duty. The students of the ERI No. 2 studied the tactical methods of handcuffing, methods of conducting a surface inspection.
The next optional lesson of the School of Scientific Leadership of KhNUIA was held by Dmytro Pashniev, Head of the Research Laboratory on Information Technology and Combating Crime in Cyberspace of the ERI №4. He familiarized the applicants for higher education with the activities of the laboratory.
The sporting event was held among students of higher education institutions of Vinnytsia region under the auspices of the Youth Policy Department of Vinnytsia City Council and Vinnytsia Youth Council. The competition was attended by members of the TST “SHIELD” club of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs.
Ihor Ostrovskyi, Senior Lecturer of the Department of Special Physical Training of the ERI No. 2, took part in the training camp in team sports to prepare the National Team of Ukraine for participation in the international sports competitions “Invictus Games” in 2025.
On the Day of Defenders of Ukraine, twenty teams of higher education institutions from Khmelnytskyi region took part in the 4x100 meter relay race. The athletics team of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs took the second place in the team competition.
Volodymyr Plotytsia, Deputy Head of the 2nd Department of the Unit for Combating Drug Crimes of the Main Department of the National Police in Vinnytsia Region, together with Mykhailo Zavalnyi, Professor of the Department of Administrative Law and Procedure, conducted a class for freshmen of the ERI #2 on “Administrative Offenses in the Field of Public Health.”
It was conducted by Nataliia Todorovska, Senior Criminalist Specialist of the Criminalistics Department of the Investigation Department of the Main Department of the National Police in Vinnytsia Region, and Iryna Kazanchuk, Associate Professor of the Department of Administrative Law and Procedure of the ERI #3. They discussed topical issues of distinguishing administrative offenses from criminal offenses.
A binary lesson on the discipline “Professional and Psychological Training of a Police Officer” with applicants for higher education at the ERI #2 was conducted by Oleksandra Ponomarenko, a psychologist of the Psychological Support Department of the Main Department of the National Police in Vinnytsia region, and Pavlo Chervonyi, Associate Professor of the Department of Psychology, Sociology and Pedagogy.
On the eve of the UN Future Summit, the NORRAG Global Education Center (Geneva, Switzerland) publishes a collection of materials from around the world on youth participation in the governance of the United Nations at the national or local levels. On the initiative of Oksana Tsukan, Assistant Rector on Gender Issues, students Oksana Sobko, Anna Dzhus, and Olena Zhuravska prepared their own essays in English for the international collection.
