University vice-rector Serhii Bortnyk met with the junior commanders of the university's cadet units. He emphasized compliance with the law, official discipline, flawless fulfillment of the requirements of the Oath of a police officer, statutes, orders, norms of professional and official ethics.
Within the framework of the UN Development Program in Ukraine, an educational training was organized for cadets on the topic "Protection of the rights, freedoms and legitimate interests of people with disabilities in police activities and the ethics of communication with them", which was conducted by Natalia Filipska, a senior lecturer at the Department of Constitutional and International Law and Human Rights .
Viacheslav Bilous, Inspector of the Public Relations Department of the Patrol Police Office in Vinnytsia Region, met with the cadets of the Educational and Research Institutes No. 2 and No. 3. He acquainted the personnel with the provisions of the Traffic Rules concerning road safety, responsibilities of drivers, passengers and pedestrians.
Traditionally, on the Day of Ukrainian Writing and Language, teachers, schoolchildren, students, scientists, politicians, public figures, as well as those who care about the fate of their native language both in their homeland and far beyond its borders, write a radio dictation of national unity. Holding such a large-scale event is an extremely important initiative to unite many fans around the Ukrainian language and culture.
For the first-year students of the ERI No. 1, a binary lesson on the topic ‘Measures of police coercion, handcuffing with observance of personal safety measures’ was conducted by senior lecturers of the Department of Tactical and Special Training of the ERI No. 2 Viktor Yasko and Mykhailo Bambuliak, a police platoon officer of the Patrol Police Battalion Maksym Tatarintsev.
Andrii Yashchenko, Professor of the Department of Criminal Law and Criminology of the ERI № 1, together with Mykhailo Zavalnyi, Professor of the Department of Administrative Law and Procedure of the ERI № 3, held a binary class on the discipline ‘Criminal Law’ for the 2nd year cadets of the ERI № 2 on the topic ‘Peculiarities of qualification of administrative and criminal offences committed in the presence of signs of complicity’.
On the eve of the Day of Ukrainian Writing and Language, higher education students of the Educational and Research Institutes №2 and №3 took part in the literary and artistic holiday ‘Ukrainian Language is Your Victory!’ on the initiative of the Department of Social and Humanitarian Work.
The instructional session was conducted for the staff and cadets of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs by the Vice-Rector of the University Serhii Bortnyk and Volodymyr Herasymchuk, an officer of the Patrol Police Department in Vinnytsia region.
An open lecture on the topic ‘Investigation of war crimes by police investigators during the war’ was held for higher education students by Serhii Bolvinov, Deputy Head of the Main Department of the National Police in Kharkiv Region - Head of the Investigation Department, PhD in Law.
During the career guidance meeting on the peculiarities of admission and studying at Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs in 2025, the Educational and Research Institute No. 1 was presented to the students of all regions of Ukraine by state order and at the expense of individuals and legal entities.
