An integral part of the practical training of full-time cadets at Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs is an introductory practice in the services and units of the National Police of Ukraine. It is carried out with the aim of consolidating the theoretical knowledge gained by cadets during the study of academic disciplines.

WEEKLY social project in action

Students of the Faculties №2 and №3 Ruslan Salohub, Oleksandr Tarabanov and Miliena Tsvietkova, who are members of the School of Scientific Leadership of KhNUIA, continue to implement their own social project - the interactive course "WEEKLY", which is part of the international program Upshift, which is implemented in Vinnytsia region by the NGO "VilnOsvita" with the support of UNICEF and the Belgian government.

Physical and sports rehabilitation of war veterans

Lecturers of the Department of Tactical and Special Physical Training of the Faculty №3 together with cadets of the special physical training circle met with military personnel who are currently undergoing rehabilitation in a medical facility. They organized volleyball lessons for the combatants.

Tactical medicine and engineering training for cadets

A binary lesson on "Safety measures during the arrangement of positions" was conducted together with the servicemen of the Assault Brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine by the staff of the Department of Tactical and Special Physical Training of the Faculty №3 Volodymyr Yevtushok, Viktor Yasko, Mykhailo Bambuliak, Serhii Tiahai and Serhii Kuchynskyi.

Training of coaches for sports activities with combatants

Within the framework of the project "Development of Adaptive Veteran Sports in the Bodies of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine", employees of the Department of Tactical and Special Physical Training of the Faculty №3 - lecturers Andrii Nadutyi, Anton Chernikov, Bohdan Lukin, Ihor Voitsekhivskyi took part in a training for lecturers (instructors, coaches) of higher education institutions belonging to the Ministry of Internal Affairs.

On the eve of the introductory practice, briefings were held with freshmen

With the participation of the management of the Faculties №№ 1-4, Sumy branch, representatives of the educational and methodological department, personnel department and scientific and pedagogical staff of the specialized departments, briefings were held for the first-year cadets of KhNUIA on the procedure for introductory practice in the territorial divisions of the NPU.

Acquisition of relevant skills and abilities to handle explosive objects

Senior Lecturer of the Department of Tactical and Special Physical Training of the Faculty № 3 of KhNUIA, Police Captain Oleksandr Skliar completed a training course for instructors on "Explosive Ordnance Risk Education" (EORE). The course was organized by a team of humanitarian demining trainers from The HALO Trust.

Training of war veterans on the basis of KhNUIA

Physical activity is one of the best ways of both physical and psychological rehabilitation. In order to improve the social adaptation of war veterans, Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs continues to hold sports classes conducted by the staff of the Department of Tactical and Special Physical Training of the Faculty No. 3.

Engineering training of KhNUIA cadets

An on-site binary lesson on the topic "The use of unmanned aerial vehicles for engineering reconnaissance of the area" was held for the cadets of the Faculty No. 1. Applicants for higher education got acquainted with the procedure for using software and hardware for remote detection of explosive objects using sensors of various physical nature.

Field exercises on engineering training and tactical medicine continue

Classes for the cadets of the Faculties 1 and 4 were conducted by Yaroslav Lisovyi, a combatant and serviceman of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, and the staff of the Department of Tactical and Special Physical Training of the Faculty 3 - Volodymyr Yevtushok, Viktor Yasko, Mykhailo Babuliak and Serhii Tiahai.
