The 2nd year cadets of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs continue to support the families of servicemen who are defending our country from the Russian aggressor. This time, they helped the family of a defender to organise the yard and prepare firewood for the winter.
A conversation on the topic ‘1000 days of invincibility of the Ukrainian people. The heroism of the military and law enforcement officers who defend Ukraine’ with the second-year cadets of the ERI №3 was held by the curator, associate professor of the Department of Administrative Law and Procedure Iryna Kazanchuk.
For higher education students of the Educational and Research Institutes Nos. 1-4, the curators of the Department of Social and Humanitarian Work held thematic information and educational talks on combating drug and other addictions. They told the cadets about the impact of drugs on human development and the emergence of drug addiction.
At the invitation of the Department of Humanitarian Policy of Vinnytsia Regional Military Administration, cadets of the ERI №2 and №3 took part in a project organised within the framework of the communication campaign ‘How are you? Resilience’ communication campaign of the All-Ukrainian Mental Health Programme initiated by the First Lady of Ukraine Olena Zelenska.
Nataliia Miloradova, Professor of the Department of Psychology, Sociology and Pedagogy, and Yana Komar, Senior Psychologist of the Criminal Protection Sector of Poltava Regional Department of the National Police in Poltava Oblast, together with the 4th year students of the ERI No. 3, discussed the peculiarities of extreme and crisis situations that a psychologist deals with.
Each woven net is essential at the frontline to make both military equipment and dugouts invisible. The 2nd year cadets of the ERI No. 3, together with volunteers, make camouflage nets for the defenders of Ukraine in their free time to keep them safe and save their lives.
In March 2025, the University of Tokyo will hold an International Conference on Human Rights in a mixed format. All those wishing to participate in it should submit abstracts in the following areas by 30 November 2024: gender equality, censorship and the right to expression, climate change and humanitarian action, business and human rights.
Andrii Dovhaliuk, an inspector of the patrol police response team of Shepetivka Department of the National Police in Khmelnytskyi Oblast, together with Iryna Kravets, a senior lecturer at the Language Training Department, and Yuliia Bortnyk, a lecturer at the same department, conducted a class for first-year cadets of the ERI No. 3.
The 2nd and 3rd year cadets of the ERI No. 3 in a playful way acquainted children with the Traffic Rules for pedestrians, safety measures when crossing the roadway, and rules of behaviour on the street without adults. They paid special attention to safety measures in case of detection of explosive objects.
This was the topic of the VIII International Scientific and Practical Conference, where Iryna Kazanchuk, Associate Professor of the Department of Administrative Law and Procedure of the School of Law, PhD in Law, Professor, and Ihor Lytochkyn, a postgraduate student, made a presentation.
