Vladyslav Kolisnichenko, associate professor of the Department of Tactical and Special Physical Training of the Faculty № 3 of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs, together with police officers and emergency driving instructors, conducted a binary lesson for 2nd year cadets majoring in Law Enforcement.
As part of career guidance, an online meeting was held with students of the final classes of lyceums in Vinnytsia region. The event was attended by Hryhorii Dzhahupov, Deputy Dean of Faculty No. 3 for Educational and Methodological Work, Olena Makarova, Senior Lecturer at the Department of Pedagogy and Psychology, Tykhin Shevchenko, Associate Professor of the Department of Tactical and Specialized and Physical Training, and Yevhen Ratoshniuk, 2nd year cadet of Faculty No. 3.
The Ukrainian Sumo Wrestling Championship among boys and girls was held in Lutsk. Sofiia Koval, a 1st year cadet of the Faculty No. 3, took part in the competition. According to the results of her performance, she took the first place in the weight category up to 55 kg. We congratulate Sofia and wish her new victories in sports and studies!
Higher education applicants of the Faculty No. 3 of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs conducted career guidance activities with the final year students of Lyceum No. 4 in Vinnytsia and familiarized them with the rules of admission to the higher education institution of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
Natalia Miloradova, Professor of the Department of Pedagogy and Psychology of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs, together with the curatorial group of the Faculty No. 3, attended the presentation of the largest collection of materials and documents on the history, ethnography and culture of Eastern Podillia.
A regular meeting of the scientific club of the Department of Police Activity and Public Administration was held. The head of the scientific club Yulia Buhaiiko acquainted the students with the main directions of scientific research aimed at improving the activities of the bodies and units of the National Police to protect the rights and freedoms of man and citizen; ensuring public safety and order in general and in the de-occupied territories, etc.
The Scientific Library held an open event "Introduction to New Literature". The presentation featured more than 300 copies of new educational and scientific literature in all fields of law, history of Ukraine, economics, philosophy, psychology, etc. The event was attended by teachers, researchers and cadets of the Faculties 2 and 3.
The new editions aroused great interest among the university community, because every new book always means new information and new knowledge. In the future, all the books will be used in the educational process and will be useful for scientists.
Within the framework of cooperation between Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs and the European Union Advisory Mission Ukraine, the School of Scientific Leadership of the university held a class on "Intelligence-led policing (ILP) - a modern model of law enforcement. Analytics, analytical intelligence in making informed, effective and efficient management decisions".
Olena Makarova, Senior Lecturer at the Department of Pedagogy and Psychology of Law of Faculty No. 3, Police Major, has successfully completed the English-language online course "Radicalization in Prison and Detention Centers". The knowledge gained will be applied by the teacher in the educational process and scientific activities.
