At the invitation of the leadership of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs, cadets of the Faculties No. 2 and No. 3 met with representatives of the Rapid Action Corps of one of the regions of Ukraine.
At the beginning of the event, all those present honored the memory of the KORD soldiers who died in the war and other defenders of Ukraine.
In support of the future, for the sake of those who defend the freedom and independence of our Motherland, employees and cadets of the Faculties No. 1 and No. 4 of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs took part in the charity race "Step to Synergy".
The Day of Knowledge was celebrated with solemn events at all locations of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs. Head of Vinnytsia Regional Military Administration Serhii Borzov, Head of the Main Department of the National Police in Vinnytsia Region, Police Colonel Ivan Ishchenko, Rector of the University, Police General of the third rank Valerii Sokurenko congratulated the university cadets on the first day of the new academic year.
On the eve of the new academic year, introductory briefings were held with the first-year students of Faculties 2 and 3 by fire safety and labor protection specialists of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs Yurii Chukhrii and Svitlana Hetmanchuk.
The first-year students of Faculties 2 and 3, who have entered Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs, have successfully completed the camp training and received their cadet shoulder straps. The Rector of the University, Police General of the third rank Valerii Sokurenko congratulated the boys and girls.
Olha Medvedieva, Associate Professor of the Department of Pedagogy and Psychology of the Faculty № 3 of KhNUIA, conducted training on stress resistance skills for the cadets of the camps of Faculties № 1 and № 4. The students gained theoretical knowledge about the nature and specifics of stress, as well as mastered practical skills of effective stress management.
The first-year cadets of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs watched a series of films about the chronicles of the war in Slobozhanshchyna, stories of eyewitnesses who saw the racist atrocities with their own eyes. The stories were collected and organized by Kharkiv Press Club with the support of the U.S. Embassy's Democracy Fund in Ukraine as part of the project "Kharkiv Region: Destroyed but Unbreakable," united under the name "SCARS."
Within the framework of the camp, the first-year students of the Faculties No. 1 and No. 4 of KhNUIA met with Pavlo Makarenko, Associate Professor of the Department of Pedagogy and Psychology, Candidate of Psychological Sciences, Associate Professor. This time they discussed the important topic for future law enforcement officers "Professional and ethical requirements for the rules of conduct of police officers".
Leading specialist of the Faculty No. 3 of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs Yevhen Ilinskyi, master's student Daniil Zinchenko and cadets of the faculty successfully completed the online course "Human Rights in Action" on the VUM platform. The purpose of the online course is to raise awareness and understanding of important aspects of human rights, especially in the context of law enforcement.
On the Day of Remembrance of the Defenders of Ukraine, representatives of Kremenchuk Flight College of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs together with the family of the university graduate, Hero of Ukraine Vitalii Hrytsaienko put flowers at the memorial plaque installed in honor of the Hero on the facade of Borys Serha Poltava Secondary School, where Vitalii Hrytsaienko studied.
