Stanislav Pevko, Associate Professor of the Department of Law Enforcement at the ERI # 5, and Ksenia Hurtova, Senior Lecturer at the Department of Constitutional and International Law and Human Rights, told young people who are planning to choose a future profession about the prospects of studying at the university and the specialties of the ERI # 5.

Mykhailo Shcherbakovskyi, Head of the Department of Criminal Procedure, Criminalistics and Expertology of the ERI # 5, and Ruslan Stepaniuk, Professor of the Department of Operational and Investigative Activities and Crime Solution of the ERI # 2, joined the International Scientific and Practical Conference on “Countering Organized Crime and Corruption in the Context of Armed Conflict”.

Representatives of the Department of Legal Support of Entrepreneurial Activity and Financial Security of the ERI No. 5 - Head of the Department, Doctor of Law, Professor Olha Hetmanets and Professor of the Department, Candidate of Law, Associate Professor Daria Korobtsova took part in the annual scientific and practical conference “Voronov Readings”.

The event, dedicated to the methods and ways of providing free legal aid, was held by the curator of the department, Associate Professor of the Department of Civil Law and Procedure Tetiana Kyrychenko. The seminar was attended by Ella Tverdokhlib, Deputy Director of the ERI #5.

Valentyna Korzh, Professor of the Department of Criminal Procedure, Criminalistics and Forensics of the Educational and Research Institute #5, took the course “Women, Peace, Security” as part of the project “Building a Democratic, Peaceful and Gender-Equal Society in Ukraine - Phase II”.

The class was conducted by Olena Polehenka, Prosecutor of the Department for Organization of Procedural Management of Pre-trial Investigation and Support of Public Prosecution in Criminal Proceedings Related to Domestic Violence of the Department for Protection of Children's Interests and Combating Domestic Violence of the Prosecutor General's Office.

Within the framework of the discipline “Introduction to the specialty”, Valentyna Sadovska, a practical psychologist at Kharkiv Lyceum №122, conducted a binary lesson on “Organization and directions of work of a practical psychologist at school” for freshmen studying psychology.

Daria Hlushkova, Associate Professor of the Department of Law Enforcement at the ERI #5, together with Viktoriia Baklytska, Deputy Head of Kharkiv District Department #3 of the Probation Center branch, conducted a binary class on the discipline “Organization of the work of justice bodies.”

On the occasion of the International Day of Nonviolence, which is celebrated annually on October 2, an online meeting of curators with students took place. Associate Professor of the Department of Criminal Law and Criminology Anna Naumova said that this day is a reminder of the power of peace and the importance of tolerance.

For the first-year master's students of the ERI #5, the class on “Psychological Support of Police Activities” was conducted by Yulia Horelkova, Inspector of Platoon #2 of the Rapid Response Company “East” of the Special Police Regiment, and Yana Ponomarenko, Associate Professor of the Department of Sociology and Psychology of the ERI #5, Candidate of Psychological Sciences, Associate Professor.
