Trainees of KhNUIA received a two-day training from the Program Office of the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime in Eastern Europe

Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs together with the Program Office of the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime in Eastern Europe (UNODC) conducted a training "The role of law enforcement officers in drug prevention and prevention of HIV. Redirection scheme for prevention and treatment services." The participants of the training program were trainees of KhNUIA.

Working meeting with the leadership of Turkish National Police Academy

Vice-Rector of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs Leonid Mohilevskyi, Head of International Cooperation Department Olena Ustymenko, Head of the Department of Scientific Work Organization  and Intellectual Property Protection Serhii Ablamskyi, Specialist of International Cooperation  Department Olena Mykhailyk took part in a working meeting with representatives of Turkish National Police Academy.

Cooperation of KhNUIA with the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime Regional Program Office for Eastern Europe countries

There was a meeting of the Rector of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs, Police General of the third rank Valerii Sokurenko with the leadership of the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime Regional Program Office for Eastern Europe countries (UNODC). The event was attended by Zhannat Kosmukhamedova, Head of the UNODC Program Office for Eastern Europe, Serhii Rudyi, National Program Officer of UNODC, and Andrii Saladovnikov, International Consultant of UNODC.

Participation in the international youth exchange program within the Erasmus + project

Mykyta Bielievtsov, Deputy Head of the Scientific Leadership School, the Faculty of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs, a 2nd-year cadet of the Faculty of Internal Affairs, took part in the international youth exchange program held in Tsaghadzor (Armenia) within the Erasmus + project.

EUAM experts have started training for future trainers in public safety and order

Training of candidates as trainers in public security and order in accordance with the best European practice has begun at Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs within the framework of the PRAVO-Police project.

Participation in the international scientific and practical conference

Associate Professor of Criminal Law and Criminology of Faculty No.1 of KhNUIA Candidate of Law, Associate Professor Kseniia Yurtaieva took part in the international scientific and practical conference "Prevention of modern crime(cybercrime)" dedicated to the 30-th anniversary of independence of the Republic of Kazakhstan conducted by Karahanda Academy of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Kazakhstan named after Barymbek Beisenov.

400 police officers were trained to counter the riots at KhNUIA

Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs hosted ceremonies on the occasion of awarding certificates to patrol police officers who completed tactical and special exercises to combat mass riots. The events were attended by Deputy Chief of the National Police of Ukraine, Police General of the third rank Oleksandr Fatsevych, Rector of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs, Police General of the third rank Valerii Sokurenko, Chief of the Patrol Police Department, Police Colonel Yevhenii Zhukov, Head of the Law Enforcement Department of the US Embassy in Ukraine Sarah Langenkamp, Director of ICITAP Regional Program Office in Ukraine Michael Hall, Vice-Rectors, University Staff, and graduates of the training seminar. 

Krystyna Koval has been selected and will represent Ukraine at the international training "Bookmarks vs Hate Speech"

Member of the School of Scientific Leadership of the Faculty №1 of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs Krystyna Koval was selected and will represent Ukraine at the international training "Bookmarks vs Hate Speech", which will be held from August 27 to September 5, 2021 in Poland.

Students of the Faculty № 6 listened to a lecture by an expert on decentralization from Poznan

Jakub Kucharczyk (Republic of Poland), an expert on decentralization and project manager of the Poznań District Administration of the Wielkopolska Voivodeship, met with students of the Faculty № 6. The event was held within the framework of the Center for Ukrainian-Polish Development of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs.
