The First Vice-Rector of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs, Police Colonel Dmytro Shvets, presented certificates to police officers of the MDNP Special Purpose Police Regiment in Kharkiv Region, who took a course for trainers on public safety and order in best European practices.

Olena Ustymenko, Head of International Cooperation Department, together with Tetyana Sokolan, Coordinator of the Council of Europe Project “Observance of Human Rights in the Criminal Justice System of Ukraine” conducted binary classes on the subject "International Protection of Human Rights" for cadets № 2 study groups 201 and 202 on the topic "International protection of human rights during armed conflicts".

Mykyta Bielievtsov, Deputy Head of the Scientific Leadership School, the Faculty of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs, a 2nd-year cadet of the Faculty of Internal Affairs, took part in the international youth exchange program held in Tsaghadzor (Armenia) within the Erasmus + project.

Training of candidates as trainers in public security and order in accordance with the best European practice has begun at Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs within the framework of the PRAVO-Police project.

Member of the School of Scientific Leadership of the Faculty №1 of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs Krystyna Koval was selected and will represent Ukraine at the international training "Bookmarks vs Hate Speech", which will be held from August 27 to September 5, 2021 in Poland.

Jakub Kucharczyk (Republic of Poland), an expert on decentralization and project manager of the Poznań District Administration of the Wielkopolska Voivodeship, met with students of the Faculty № 6. The event was held within the framework of the Center for Ukrainian-Polish Development of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs.

Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs hosted ceremonial events on the occasion of the completion of training seminars "Fundamentals of special tactics of special police units according to the European model of public safety and order during peaceful assemblies and other mass events". 

Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs hosted the presentation of the project "Assessment of the current state of gender equality at Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs", aimed at analyzing gender approaches used in higher educational establishments with specific learning conditions.

Vitalii Naida, Head of Scientific Leadership School of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs, and first-year cadets Kateryna Sharavar and Anastasiia Lymarenko, participants of this School, became winners of the all-Ukrainian essay contest "Heydar Aliyev: The Phenomenon of Leadership" among Ukrainian students.
