
Since the establishment of the National Police of Ukraine and the beginning of permanent reform of the system of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine, a number of important steps have been taken to bring the organizational structure and legal status of the National Police in line with European standards and norms. However, serving the interests and needs of society and the state remains a priority for the Ukrainian police.

Future Community Police Officers from 8 regions of Ukraine were undergoing a special training course developed by Ukrainian and international law enforcement experts at Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs for 2.5 months.

The celebrations on the occasion of the graduation of community police officers took place at Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs on 6 February this year. A plot about this event was released in the TV program "Law Enforcement Guards", that is broadcast on TV channels: «А/ТВК» (A/TVK) and «7 kanal» (7 channel).

During the meeting, the parties discussed the state of current cooperation between the Ministry of internal affairs of Ukraine and the US government. Special attention was paid to the successful implementation of the project "Community Police Officer". The Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine Arsen Avakov stressed that this project will have a new level of providing high-quality police services and a security system.

Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs hosted ceremonial events on the occasion of the graduation of the listeners of courses on the specialization of district police officers assigned to police stations of the united territorial communities.

Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs received the equipment for teaching under the implementation of the International Technical Assistance Project "Operational Support to Providing Strategic Advice for the Reform of the Civilian Security Sector in Ukraine (2019-2021)", registered with the Secretariat of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine with number 3922-09. The project partner is the European Union Advisory Mission Ukraine.

Oleksii Shumilo, Associate Professor of the Department of Legal Support of Economic Activity of the Faculty of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs, took part in the 4-th International Scientific and Practical Conference "IT Law: Problems and Prospects for Development in Ukraine".

Nataliia Khodieieva an Associate Professor of Department of Civil Law and Proceedings оf the Faculty №6 of KhNUIA, a Candidate of Law passed the international internship "Modern trends in education in the modern information space and research. European experience and practice”.

Representatives of Kremenchuk Flight College of KhNUIA, Head of the Science Department Maryna Petchenko, Chairman and lecturers of the Cycle Commission of Philological Disciplines Oksana Savchenko, Liudmyla Chyzhova, Liudmila and Ivanchenko took part in the V International Educational Online Forum “NewEdu-2020: Tech Future in Focus”.

The Center for Ukrainian-Polish Development announces the possibility of participating in the International Scientific and Practical Conference "European Potential for the Development of Legal Science, Legislation and Law Enforcement Practice", which will be held on February 26-27, 2021 in Wloclawek, Poland.
