Representatives of Kremenchuk Flight College of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs took part in the conference “Synergy. IT Business & IT Education", organized by the IT Ukraine Association - the largest association of software companies in the country.

The first online conference DC Link Partner Day-2020 took place and the employees of the Research laboratory on the development of information technology of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs took part in it.

The first round of the All-Ukrainian competition of student research papers in the specialty "Philosophy" was held at Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs in pursuance of the order of
the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine “On the All-Ukrainian competition of student research papers in the fields of knowledge and specialties in the 2020/2021 academic year” and in
order to find talented cadets and students, create conditions for their creative growth, intensify research work of cadets and students.

Yevheniia Kovalenko and Anna Martynenko, applicants for higher education of the first (Bachelor's) level in the specialty "Law", under the guidance of Tsvitana Baranova, Lecturer of the Department of Legal Disciplines, and Olena Markova, Candidate of Legal Sciences, Associate Professor, participated in the All-Ukrainian Competition of Scientific Works on the topic  "The Prosecutor's Office and Public Activists: Is It Possible to Establish Interaction".

The Academic Council of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs considered the issue of nominating candidates for placing photos on the stand “Well-known Scholars of the University”. Head of the Academic Council, Rector Valerii Sokurenko emphasized that a good tradition had been established a few years ago - to place photos of prominent scientists on a special stand to highlight their contribution to the development of science. 

In honor of the 25th Anniversary of the Scientific Research Institute for the Study of Crime Issues named after Volodymyr Stashys of the National Academy of Law Sciences of Ukraine, the Competition named after Academician Volodymyr Stashys was founded, which aim is to award talented organizers in the field of sciences of the criminal and law cycle.

A regular meeting of the scientific circle of the Department of Labor and Business Law on "European labor market: experience and benefits" was held. The event addressed the issues of observance of labor rights of Ukrainian citizens working in EU countries and development of civil society in Ukraine.

Valerii Sokurenko, Rector of the University, awarded the employees and cadets of the University during the meeting of the Academic Council. For exemplary performance of official duties, personal initiative and dedication, high professionalism the awards were given.

The final meeting of the Academic Council of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs for 2020 took place. The first considered issue was the election of the chairman of the Academic Council of the University.

Artem Bilousov, Lecturer of the Department of Foreign Languages of the Faculty № 1, held a meeting of the scientific circle, in which fourth-year cadets of the Faculty № 1 participated. The topic of discussion: «Problems of understanding and correct translation of different dialects of English-speaking countries».
