On the eve of the winter holidays, the "Romantika" youth center hosted a New Year's battle "Intuition" among four teams: youth workers, students, volunteers and students. The student team included four institutions of higher education in the city of Sumy. Sumy branch of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs was presented by 1st year cadet Volodymyr Korzh.

Kostiantyn Shevelev, a senior lecturer at the Department of Criminal Law and Criminology, Faculty No. 1 of KhNUIA, conducted career guidance events at Kharkiv Secondary School of Grades I-III No. 146 of Kharkiv City Council of Kharkiv Region. Fifty-three students of two graduating classes joined the online communication.

A conference of the labor collective chaired by the first vice-rector Oleksandr Morhunov was held at Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs. The report of the university rector, Valerii Sokurenko, "The results of the work of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs for 2022" was heard.

During the meeting of the Academic Council, Rector of the University Valerii Sokurenko presented the staff of the university with the Gratitude of the Academic Council for active volunteering aimed at helping the Armed Forces of Ukraine, units of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine, veterans, civilians and the International Volunteer Day.

The final meeting of the Academic Council of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs for the year 2022 was held under the chairmanship of Rector Valerii Sokurenko. Previous years' rectors Oleksandr Bandurka and Serhii Husarov, head of the MDNP in Vinnytsia region Ivan Ishchenko, first vice-rector Oleksandr Morhunov, vice-rectors took part in its work.

Faculty No. 6 of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs held the "Young Legal Expert" Olympiad in remote mode. To participate in the Olympiad, 176 applications were submitted from students of 10-11 grades of general secondary education institutions of the city of Kharkiv and Kharkiv region, as well as students of the I and II courses of vocational pre-higher and professional (vocational-technical) education institutions.

The head of the Department of Operational Investigation and Crime Detection of the Faculty No. 2, Police Colonel Vladyslav Shendryk, and the Head of the Department of Police Activity and Public Administration of the Faculty No. 3, Police Colonel Olha Bezpalova, visited Vinnytsia District Police Department of the MDNP in Vinnytsia Region, Police Departments No. 1 and No. 3.

On the occasion of the Day of Court Employees of Ukraine, members of Sumy branch of ELSA held an educational seminar for first-year students of Sumy branch of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs. This year, first-year students, as well as cadets, expressed their desire to join Sumy branch of ELSA.

Associate Professor of the Department of Pedagogy and Psychology of the Faculty No. 3 of  KhNUIA Pavlo Chervonyi visited the personnel support department of the Police Department No. 1 of Kharkiv District Police Department No. 3 of the MDNP in Kharkiv Region, where a 4th-year cadet majoring in Psychology is interning.

Associate Professor of the Department of Civil and Legal Disciplines of the Faculty No. 4 of KhNUIA Oleksandr Shyshka held a career orientation meeting with the administration of the specialized school with in-depth study of the English language No. 82 named after T. H. Shevchenko, Kyiv.
