Representatives of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs Oleksandr Shulhin, Tetiana Boichenko and Nataliia Rastorhuieva visited Kharkiv secondary schools of I-III grades № 90 and № 95, where they communicated with 10th and 11th grade students.The events were also attended by deputy director of school № 90 Hennadii Lobusov, assistant director of school № 95 Iryna Sydorenko and teacher-organizer Nataliia Merzliakova.
To acquaint and raise awareness of non-resident first-year students of Sumy branch of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs, a tour "An architectural Heritage of Sumy" was organized with the participation of Sumy Promotion Agency of Sumy City Council.

The practical part of the training for the mass media representatives was held on the educational-training grounds of the university. The Head of the Department of Firearms Training, Police Colonel Vitalii Fedorov, Senior Lecturers of the Department, Police Senior Lieutenant Fedor Zurov and Police Major Tolkachov Serhii held a class along with journalists in a multimedia interactive shooting range “Ingul-7” where journalists were familiarized with the rules of the usage of traumatic weapons and safety events which must be followed during self-defense.
The fire safety training for a special permanent and alternating manpower of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs has been carried out successfully with the participation of the State Emergency Service units.
The first training class “The journalist safety during mass measures and combat zones” was taken on the university training ground “Science Park”. Journalists have mastered working rules in emergency conditions, learned how to use protection equipment (bulletproof vest), the usage of handy tools for self-defense and received useful advices on how to behave correctly while working in the zone of mass riots or gunfire, behave properly and organize your work etc.
The scientific and pedagogical staff of the Department of Criminal Procedure and Pre-trial Investigation of the Faculty № 1 took part in the online event "Academic Integrity and Preparation of Scientific and Methodological Materials", organized and conducted by UNICHECK Ukraine and the National Agency for Quality Assurance in Higher Education.
