Robert Zolkiewski, the Head of Field Office Kharkiv, Johann Frohlich, Adviser/Trainer on Public Order, Saer Ammar, Adviser/Trainer on Rule of Law visited Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs on the 18th of July.
There was a meeting of the Administration of the University with entrants who are going to study on the government order in the University. Mykhailo Burdin, the Vice-rector greeted the audience with a welcoming speech. He answered the questions of entrants and their parents and wished success to the future policemen during the entrance campaign.
186 cadets of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs (110 boys and 76 girls) studying at the Faculty No. 3 specializing in "Law Enforcement Activity" and finishing the 2nd year of study are sent to the place of service to almost all regions of Ukraine. The University organized solemn events dedicated to this event.
The Sumy branch of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs held a solemn ceremony on the occasion of awarding the diplomas "Bachelor of Law" to graduates who had been studying on the basis of educational qualification level "junior specialist".
The graduation ceremony was held on the 5th of July in Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs. The representatives of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the National Police of Ukraine, Kharkiv regional state administration, Main Division of the National Police in Kharkiv region, the European Union Advisory Mission with Robert Zolkiewski, the Head, other state institutions and organizations, the staff of the University with Dmytro Shvets, the Rector, parents and relatives took part in the ceremony.
Dmytro Shvets, the Rector of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs and Valerii Sokurenko, the Head of the National Police Main Division in Kharkiv region had a talk with the media and answered the relevant questions during the celebrations of the fourth anniversary of the National Police of Ukraine.
Tetiana Matiushkova, Assistant Professor of the Department of Criminalistics and Forensic Science of the Faculty No.1 of KhNUIA, Lieutenant Colonel of Police, conducted a binary practical lesson
with cadets of study group F2-16-301 with the participation of the lecturer of the Department of Prevention and Traffic of the Police School in Katowice (Poland) Michał Stępień in the course of Criminalistics on “investigation Methods of Rape ”.
Larysa Varunts, Associate Professor of the Department of Constitutional and International Law of the Faculty № 4, held a binary lesson on the topic "International legal mechanism for human rights protection" with the participation of Saer Ammar, Adviser / Trainer on Rule of Law of EUAM.
The binary lesson was held for the cadets of the study group F2-102 of the Faculty № 2 of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs.
The representatives of the OSCE Project Co-ordinator's office in Ukraine visited Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs. Liliia Hrudko, Head of the Program «Human Security» and Anhelina Biriukova, National Project Specialist, met with Valerii Sokurenko, Rector of the University, Police General of the 3-rd rank, Dmytro Shvets, First Vice-Rector, Police Lieutenant Colonel, Oleksandr Bakumov, Vice-Rector, and Viacheslav Markov, Dean of the Faculty No 4 (Cyberpolice), Police Lieutenant Colonel.
During the visit to Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs, the representatives of the OSCE Project Co-ordinator in Ukraine took part in the awarding the winners of the regional children's drawing competition «Children's friendship against bullying».
