
Volunteering is the calling of the soul, the desire of a sincere and highly spiritual person to make the world a better place, to help everyone who needs protection and support. This is a powerful social movement, the noblest human activity, thanks to which the sick, lonely, unprotected receive the care and warmth of kind hearts.

Athletes of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs won prizes in the All-Ukrainian weightlifting tournament dedicated to the memory of I. M. Kozhedub, which took place in Kharkiv. The tournament was attended by 120 participants from six regions of Ukraine.

For the International Volunteer Day, which is celebrated annually by the United Nations on December 5, the Scientific Library of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs has prepared a thematic exhibition "Volunteers are people of good will".

Every year, together with the world community, Ukraine celebrates the Day of People with Disabilities. The staff of Kremenchuk Flight College initiated the charity event ''Create good'' within which representatives of the college visited the geriatric department of the boarding house for war and labor veterans.

The Scientific Library of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs invites the university community to see the book exposition "Light of the Unconquered Soul" dedicated to the 90th anniversary of the birth of Hryhorii Mykhailovych Tiutiunnyk (December 5, 1931 - March 6, 1980).

Deputy Dean for Educational and Methodological Work of the Faculty № 4 of KhNUIA, Police Major Yurii Onyschenko together with a 4th year cadet of the same faculty Police Corporal Roman Orlov conducted career guidance work at Kharkiv Technical Lyceum № 173.

Yuliia Shelest, a second-year cadet of the Faculty № 1, who is a member of the School of Scientific Leadership and a volunteer researcher, donated exhibits from the Second World War to the Liubotyn City Museum of Local Lore. They were found during excavations in Balakliia district by cadets-participants of the School of Scientific Leadership of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs together with the public organization "Union of Search Detachments of Ukraine".

A participant of the School of Scientific Leadership of Faculty No. 1 of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs, 3rd year cadet Yuliia Patsora took part in an online meeting with a Swiss lawyer Richard Chlup, organized by the Association of Law Graduates of KNU named after Taras Shevchenko.

Five academics and ten cadets of Odessa State University of Internal Affairs within the program of academic mobility between higher education institutions related to the Ministry of Internal Affairs, during the week participated in teaching and research activities of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs.

This year, “Student Masquerade Ball 2021” took place at “Kharkiv-Palace” hotel and gathered dancing couples from 18 universities of the city. Ten cadet and student couples of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs took part in this event, which has already became a tradition.
