Senior lecturer of the Department of Legal Disciplines Serhii LUKIANENKO and Deputy Head of the State Institution "Sumy Detention Center" Vadym VASIN conducted an online lesson on the topic "Legal grounds for placing and conditions of detention of persons in custody in a detention center" for students of Sumy branch of KhNUIA.

Associate Professor of the Department of Criminal Law and Criminology of the ERI No. 1, Candidate of Law, Associate Professor Tetiana SHEVCHUK held a curatorial hour for students dedicated to the topic of media literacy. During the meeting, she focused on the main challenges and threats faced by state bodies in the information space.

Lecturer of the Department of Criminal Law and Criminology of the ERI No. 1 Olena HORASH held a curatorial hour with the cadets dedicated to honoring those who died in World War II 1939-1945. She reminded that this date is a tribute to the heroes of the past and at the same time a call to realize personal responsibility for preserving peace and security of the state.

Senior Lecturer of the Department of Language Training Larysa SAZANOVA participated in the webinar "Academic Integrity: Challenges, Problems and Prospects - 2025", which was held by Zaporizhzhia Polytechnic National University.

The competition brought together law students from 31 higher education institutions of Ukraine. The event was organized by the DEJURE Foundation in partnership with the Supreme Anti-Corruption Court with financial support from the German Foreign Ministry. Cadets of the ERI No. 1 Danylo TESLIA and Roman MAKIEVSKYI took part in the final of the Third Moutcourt.

Doctoral student of the Department of Doctoral and Adjunct Studies (Postgraduate Studies) Kateryna SHAPOVAL successfully completed a face-to-face training course on providing psychological first aid to children, developed by the international organization Save the Children in cooperation with Finn Church Aid (FCA) with the support of the European Union.

A member of the working group on the development of an educational and professional program of the first (bachelor's) level of higher education in the field of knowledge K "Security and Defense", specialty K9 "Law Enforcement Activities", professor of the Department of Law Enforcement Activities of the ERI No. 5 Mykola HOLUB held meetings with representatives of the main stakeholder of the Main Directorate of the National Police of Kharkiv region.

In order to ensure practice-oriented training of students studying in the specialty "Law enforcement activities", an online lesson was held with the participation of the emergency medicine paramedic of Sumy Regional Center for Emergency Medical Care and Disaster Medicine Liliia TETIANCHENKO.

The Head of the Department of Legal Support of Entrepreneurial Activity and Financial Security of the ERI No. 5, Olha HETMANETS, Professor of the same department Daria KOROBTSOVA, and the Deputy Director of the Institute Ella TVERDOKHLIB held an online meeting with students of Koviazkyi NEC.

A binary lesson was held on this topic, during which the cadets of the ERI No. 2 got acquainted with the types of explosive objects. Together with explosive experts, they practiced practical actions for their identification, the procedure for responding to a report of the detection of a suspicious object, as well as the algorithm for conducting non-technical and technical inspections of territories.
