With the assistance of the charitable partner project "For Children of War" of the Charitable Foundation "SOS Civil Defense Staff", representatives of the Faculties No. 1 and No. 4 of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs met with students from Kharkiv and Donetsk regions who arrived for rehabilitation and psychological rehabilitation in Kamianets-Podilskyi, Khmelnytskyi region.
For the 1st year cadets of the Faculty No. 1 of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs, a binary lesson on first aid was conducted by Lieutenant Iryna Shcherbinina, Head of the Support and Psychological Recovery Group of one of the mechanized brigades of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, and Tetiana Orlova, Associate Professor of the Department of Criminalistics, Forensic Science and Pre-medical Training of the Faculty No. 1.
Olena Lukianykhina, Head of the Department of Socio-Economic Disciplines of Sumy Branch of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs, PhD in Economics, Associate Professor, and Antonina Tkach, a third-year student majoring in Law, took part in a webinar by SandPulse: "Marketing communications and people: how to increase loyalty, trust and sales".
The meeting discussed a number of topical issues of criminal law policy in times of war, as well as criminological principles of transitional justice in Ukraine. The Head of the Department of Criminal Law and Criminology Yurii Orlov familiarized the cadets with the basic provisions of the concept of transitional justice, which provides for the simultaneous activities of the state and civil society institutions in four areas.
Mykhailo Kuryk, a 29-year-old resident of Bukovyna, successfully passed the exam at the Territorial Service Center of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine in Kamianets-Podilskyi and received a driver's license. According to him, he had been dreaming about it since he was 18 years old. In practice, he was unable to do so due to the lack of a specialized vehicle at the driving school in his hometown, as he has a birth defect.

The academic staff of the Department of Foreign Languages of the Faculty № 4 - Head of the Department Olena Stativka, Associate Professors Oleh Honcharuk, Valentyna Kochyna, Valentyna Pochuieva and Senior Lecturers Artem Bilousov and Larysa Sazanova - attended an international webinar "Teaching for the Young Learners tests - a focus on reading skills" held by Cambridge English.
Students of Poltava Lyceum with enhanced military and physical training got acquainted with the benefits of studying at Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs. Due to the military aggression of the Russian Federation against Ukraine and active hostilities, the university was forced to relocate from Kharkiv to other regions of Ukraine to continue the educational process in a safe environment.
Within the framework of cooperation and exchange of experience, the academic staff of the Department of Tactical and Special Physical Training of the Faculty № 3 of KhNUIA together with the specialists of the Dog Training Center of the Main Directorate of the National Police in Vinnytsia region conducted a practical binary lesson for cadets of the Faculty № 2 on the topic "Use (application) of service dogs in combating crime and ensuring public safety and order".
Representatives of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs and the European Union Advisory Mission Ukraine discussed ways to expand cooperation based on the academic interests and professional experience of the participants, in particular, they identified joint activities such as online participation of EUAM representatives in lectures and other training sessions on international humanitarian law, conducting trainings for higher education students and academic staff on international humanitarian law, etc.
