Rector of the University, Police General of the third rank Valerii Sokurenko on behalf of the staff of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs once again delivered humanitarian aid to the defenders of Ukraine. The military, who are holding the defense on the front line, will receive camouflage nets, trench candles, warm blankets, food and personal hygiene products.
A regular consultation meeting was held on the topic "Approval of prepared land management projects for personal farming within and outside settlements". The event was held thanks to the cooperation of Vinnytsia branch of KhNUIA Legal Clinic with Vinnytsia Regional Association of Local Governments and the Regional Center for Free Secondary Legal Aid in Vinnytsia Region.
On April 16, 2024, police lieutenant colonel Yurii Skliarov, a man who devoted many years of his life to working at Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs, passed away. From March 1984, he headed the financial department of Kharkiv Special School for Advanced Training of Police Commanders of the USSR Ministry of Internal Affairs, from 1995 to 2002 - the financial and economic department of the university's financial and economic department, and from 2002 to 2005 - he held the position of Assistant Rector for Organizational Work of the Department of Organizational, Analytical Work, International and Interuniversity Relations of the National University of Internal Affairs.
