Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs hosted events on the occasion of the class of 2024. Young, motivated police officers have joined the ranks of the National Police and will serve in different regions of Ukraine tomorrow. The participants observed a minute of silence in memory of all those who laid down their lives for Ukraine.
During the ceremonial events on the occasion of the graduation of cadets in 2024, awards were held at three locations of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs.
Traditionally, before the graduation ceremony at Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs, shoulder straps are presented. Today, at the university locations in Vinnytsia, Khmelnytskyi and Sumy regions, graduating cadets received lieutenant's shoulder straps.
Today is a memorable event for Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs - for the third time during the war, we are graduating officers who will serve in the National Police of Ukraine, ensure public safety and order, and defend the interests of the state, its integrity and sovereignty.
We sincerely congratulate you on completing your studies! Today you receive the rank of officer of the National Police of Ukraine and join the ranks of brave law enforcement officers. As you begin a new stage of service, remember that you will be responsible not only for your own actions, but also for the fate of people who need your help.
On April 08-14, 2024, the Cyber Researcher Olympiad will be held for students and graduates of general secondary, vocational (vocational-technical) and professional higher education institutions of Ukraine. It will be held by the Faculty № 6 of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs (Department of Cybersecurity and DATA Technologies) with the assistance of the Faculty № 4. The event will be held remotely.
With the assistance of the Department of International Cooperation, representatives of the International Committee of the Red Cross in Ukraine conducted a training on human rights, international standards of police activity, the mandate and activities of the ICRC in Ukraine, the use of force in the paradigm of law enforcement, the search for missing persons and the protection of civilians during armed conflict at one of the locations of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs for the academic staff and applicants for higher education of KhNUIA.
In Lviv, the kettlebell lifting championship of the PSC "Dynamo" of Ukraine among the national teams of higher education institutions belonging to the sphere of management of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the National Guard of Ukraine and other central executive bodies, whose activities are directed and coordinated by the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine through the Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine, took place.
Representatives of the Explosive Ordnance Department of the Main Department of the National Police in Kharkiv region - Deputy Head of the Explosive Ordnance Department, Lieutenant Colonel Vladyslav Hapon and Inspector of the Explosive Ordnance Department, Senior Lieutenant Volodymyr Vovk together with lecturers of the Department of Tactical and Special Physical Training of Faculty No. 3 Taras Shevchenko and Oleksandr Martynenko conducted a binary training session.
Inspectors of the Patrol Police Response Sector (PPRS) Yevhen Vronskyi and Andrii Myshko together with the academic staff of the Department of Tactical and Special Physical Training of Faculty № 3, associate professors Ihor Vlasenko, Tykhyn Shevchenko and lecturer Anna Tsyrkulenko conducted a binary lesson for cadets of Faculties № 2 and № 3.
